• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2009 se5 stuck in 5 dps light . 13 mm wrench fix

A lot of good answers here, one thing we ran into at the shop on these was bad throttle bodies. Look for code 1614 which is tripped when the T-Bodies are of issue.

Can my Elka's be used on a '13 RT?

Contact ELka at 1-800-557-0552 and ask for the tech dept , let them know the situation. These folks can make those shocks work. Might have to do a little work but a lot less than new ones.

Power Steering DPS on 2010 RT

DPS has been updated a few times. New # is 219800295 and it does work on both the 09 RS SE5 and 2010 RT SE5. The used 09 DPS will work on your 2010 RT. However check the DPS part number because if its 709400453 or 709400928 (928 no longer updates) then these are the bad DPS units. Even if you...

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

Well its a little complicated to explain how to seal. Requires removal of cam caps rear cylinder to access center portion of head where oil collects and is not sealed. Its this port that needs sealed because of how the breather system works. It flows up to and passes through this area collecting...

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

really? Ok well thats an important thing to get done as we have seen several of the old trans filters imploded apon removal. All the filters have auto updated to new part numbers along with oil change kits so even if they don't know about it they should be getting the new ones. trans oil...

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

There is an area of the breather system that collects oil. This area is not sealed so once oil collects and fills this space it then blows into the air box. With this area exposed during a full service the non sealed space can be sealed. It will still vent oil gases into the air box and some oil...

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

Yes, It's been on both the RS and RT.

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

Simple as I can, over time the valve lash will begin to tighten up. If this clearance is allowed to become to tight (engine hard turning over is to tight by the way) the valves won't close fully. This then allows the hot combustion gases to blow past the valves and valve seats, burning and...

    VALVE ADJUST, MILES

Just an FYI for ya all, Valve adjustments we find are needed in the 15 to 19k range. Intakes and exhaust both can get tight and we have shimed at least a valve on every full service we have done above 15k. I know there is opinions accross the board on this subject but this is what we are seeing...

Juice Box on 2012 RT LTD

We have had a few customers put on juice boxes, commanders, ect ect and they just don't run well and toss around codes like mad. We do not have a dyno and thus can't tune them. We inform our customers to do just an exhaust and that any other items like the above mentioned they need to contact a...

    Auto Clutch Damage

Most of you know but its worth repeating. We are seeing (via diagnostic reports on our customer units) many Spyders that are being riden below 3000rpms during cruise. This is BAD,BAD and BAD. It can result in complete failure and destruction of the clutch. Critical with the auto clutch that...
