• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Good Luck

This ain't the place it used to be. References to legit business's not deemed proper, excluded, banned and redacted. That's the new paradigm. Anyway I tried. ''bye, and I don't pretend I'll be missed, cause I won't. I have nothing to contribute to the new order. Best of luck. Thanks for the...

    Fifty years ago today

Gladly, because it is a story that was repeated thousands of times from towns and cities all across this country. My mom worked for a small company that made fuel nozzles for GE jet engines. She pressure tested them. Someone at NASA decided these small jets could be adapted and used as course...

    Fifty years ago today

Fifty years ago the United States landed two men on the moon. Neil Armstrong and Buzz Aldrin went to the lunar surface and Mike Collins orbited the moon manning their flight back. Yes, we went to the moon- several times. It was spurred by a contest with the Russians and we won that one. The...

    Spyder reliability (long term)

well, the number of angels that can dance on the head of a pin is ..... but once the condition has been remedied the code will automatically be cleared and archived with no other action needed.

I beg to differ, the code will be archived but should not cause any operational difficulty.

    Spyder reliability (long term)

There are a few trouble areas on the incredibly fun 998. Throttle body problems and associated hoses are a weak spot caused mainly by the alcohol in the fuel. The throttle body problem can be expensive but in more cases than not they can be cleaned by someone who knows what they are doing. As...

    Curious Question About Touring (F3-S)

Naw, the only thing they are good for is a trip to the Dairy Queen. <attempt at a joke> If you don't have adequate storage space then put some saddle bags on. That puppy will take you anywhere you want to go and you'll long for home long before it does.

    Electrical problem

It could be a fuse problem, of course. I suppose multiple fuses could blow but it is kind of unlikely. You may also want to check that the switches are securely seated in their individual sockets. The sockets are a real adventure to get to, but if it isn't a fuse(s) then I think that remains a...

Showed a couple of Harley's the power of a spyder

There are aholes in any group or demographic. And I remember the testosterone charged arguments over the best car, Chevy, Ford or Dodge. I recall there was a time in my life that I really thought crap like that mattered. It doesn't. I like the spyder and I know they're the training vehicles for...

    Is it legal

I have no idea if it's legal, but it sure is stupid because the majority of the revenue stream generated by a spyder sale is in the maintenance.
