• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

If yours is like that, then you’re correct.

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

Yep, that’s the vent that goes on the rear of the headlight assembly. According to the parts diagram, each light assembly has two of them.

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

If you were using the connection on the right side, then that power comes directly from the radio power supply. Thus, it is very limited and not able to supply your needs. If your bike does not have a 12v power plug already installed up front, then the ends of that accessory power harness should...

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

Hey Ken. I think we need to reset. To begin with, you have been referring to this power connection that you used as GPS2. I just assumed that you were calling the 12v accessory connection a GPS connection, as that's what most people use it for. However, there is a dedicated GPS power connection...

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

Double checking. If you want that power to be switched ON and OFF with the key, the F6 position has the fuse installed, the F7 position is empty.

2018 RTL GPS circuit. Blew a fuse? Can anyone give me a pointer towards which one?

Hey Kenny. In your manual in the back where the fuse boxes are. Right side fuse box - right side as you are sitting on the bike - fuse F6. DC Plugs. It’s 5a. If it blows a second time with nothing plugged in or hooked up, then you’ve messed up your wiring somehow, and created a short. Go back...

    FS: 2012 RT-622 Trailer

Yes it is, George. And I would love to make a deal before this back surgery. DM me and let’s talk.

    Mysterious drive belt adjustment change

Yes, but what are you going to do with that information once you get it? 111 lbs-ft +/-4. Keep in mind that the bolt comes with that encapsulated thread locker on it that is one time use. If you simply put a torque wrench on it, thinking that you can check the torque, that’s inaccurate as all...

Anyone know of a source for a 2010 RT brake cable? Or any alternatives that will fit?

In this thread beliw,, jcthorne posted that the 2010 - 2012 cables are all the same, even though the part numbers are different. Post #13. I’ve never personally held them both side by side, but he’s pretty knowledgeable. Part number 707000927 seems to be available in multiple places...

No First Gear after unloading from the trailer - what do I check and how do I fix it?

Yeah Richard. Maybe it’s up too far now, and the solenoid can’t pull it far enough. So, as long as it’s still functioning, you have to bend it down a bit till it’s in the sweet spot. But as Ron pointed out, most times an owner has to buy a new bracket. Then the alignment is correct.

2014 ST with error code P0340 - anyone help me figure out where the camshaft position sensor is?

As the video shows, he removed that screw from the MAP sensor in order to get at the front vacuum line. You can do the same. And as mentioned, follow the wire harness from the cam sensor to the harness connector. Pull it apart and see if it’s full of oil or corrosion. Might be the problem after...

No First Gear after unloading from the trailer - what do I check and how do I fix it?

Richard, shift control module cover, and protection box, are both terminologies that aren’t standard. Plus, what year and model. I’m going to take a wild ass guess here, and assume you’re talking about the “reverse actuator” that hangs down under the bike on the left side. That’s what typically...

2014 ST with error code P0340 - anyone help me figure out where the camshaft position sensor is?

Hey Rick. Nice job pulling up the code and providing all the information. Left side, back side of front cylinder valve cover. Remove the left upper panels. While you’re in there, should replace the two MAP sensor vacuum hoses as a preventative measure, if it’s never been done. Use silicon...

Had a dead battery that threw a check engine light & Code U0155!! How do I clear the light? Do I need BUDS?

Hey Mikey. I suspect your VSS and Limp Mode as you turned into your house may have been you riding the brake a bit. Let’s put that aside for now. U0155 is loss of CANBUS communications with the cluster. You know the drill. You’re going to have to fix the problem itself before the code and light...

Engine Trouble - intermittently won't start! Any ideas on what to look for?

Well, as long as you have the airbox off, you may as well clean the throttle body. It’s a 2010 after all. You can do it while it is on the motor. Hit the bushings and general gum removal. I see sort of a bath tub ring in the intakes on your earlier pictures. Attached document shows instructions...
