• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Any Changes in the 2015 vs. the 2014?

Believe me, Joe's joke wasn't lost on me. He just helped drive home my point and you make a good point about the run up to new models taking a while. But the RS and RT models have been out for quite a while now so the run up toward newer technology is shorter all the time. I think BRP has done a...

Any Changes in the 2015 vs. the 2014?

Is it just me or is BRP driving the market on these bikes? I have a 2012 RT-S Limited that I'm trying sell for health reasons. It's a great bike but BRP keeps upping the game with drastic changes to the models to the point where my 2012 (with only 450 miles on the clock) is virtually WORTHLESS...

Digital display removal ? ECM dead

Perhaps I'm mixing things up. For lack of a better / more technical term it's the digital screen. I have no read out. It won't light up or show anything other than a few lines of jumbled letters. I can't get my radio to work either. No sound, can't change stations, no speedo, no clock, no...

Digital display removal ? ECM dead

Question... Does removal of the ECM void my warranty? :helpsmilie: My ECM quit displaying over the weekend. :banghead: All I get are a bunch all lines and a black screen with random letters. And no I didn't power wash the dash. I thought if I take out the unit I could examine the connector(s)...

    Filling the fuel tank

pics, pics, pics Great advice here. I really like the idea of a canisterectomy. What a stupid design in the first place. All bitching aside, can anyone post (or direct me to) some clear and concise photos of where the canister is located for a current RT. Perhaps some before and after pics?? I...

    Spyder Recall package

Got mine... Still smells like gas !!! Got my (made in Mexico, shipped from Canada to California) gas cap replacement about a week ago. Filled up the Spyder Monday with the "new" cap and went for a 150 mile ride. Got home and the bike reeked of gas! :banghead: Finally went away after about an...

Over heating and anti freeze discharge

:agree: Thanks to all of you that responded. I spoke with dealer (who is about 250 miles away). They freaked when they heard the problem and sent a driver with a trailer to pick up the Spyder and take it back to their shop. They are going to install a new thermostat, pressure cap and pressure...

Over heating and anti freeze discharge

The cap was at the second detent and no discharge at the cap. All the discharge went out the overflow tube from the tank. The other reply about a stuck thermostat is interesting. Any way to check that without removing it? Thanks for the replys.

Over heating and anti freeze discharge

Hey there. New to the forum so bare with me. I have looked high and low across the forum and can't find an answer. I have a 2012 RT-S Limited. 300 hundred miles. Yesterday I rode it from my house to town (5 miles) on level ground. When I arrived at the store I shut off the engine and the bike...

What type of motor oil do you use in your RT?

Oil Change. How difficult to do? Hi there... Nicky new guy here. Just picked up our RT-S SE5 Limited. It will be coming up on its 600 mile oil change. I am mechanically inclined and was told by the mechanic that built our bike that the oil change is not that hard. Anybody done their own? If so...
