• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Misdirected link I had the same problem on my laptop. If you are having a redirected link do to a popup try going to the Malwarebyte.com. this program is a free cleaning program for popups. It will show you all the popups that are on your machine then you can quarantine the popups.

Thumb Throttle on 2012 and older RSS

Thumb Throttle Before going with a thumb throttle I would look at moving the throttle grip to the "Left grip". During the Spyder In The redwoods last August a fell spyder rider was handicapped. She was born with no right hand or fore arm. She had her RSS modified so the throttle was on the left...

    Trying to do my homework

I have a 2011 with seal floorboards. I am 6' 6" at 260 lbs. The length of the boards does help plus you can stretch your legs with John's board design. Find someone at the dealer that will let you sit or even ride their machine with boards on it.

Here's a hot one...or maybe not warm enough

Vibration Problem Your bike has a clutch and transmission output shaft bearing problem. Insist that they change out the transmission. The load vibration and then no vibration under free wheel should give the dealer a clue that it is in the trans.

    Odd clink clank

Clinky Clack I had the same noise on my 2011 RT-S at 3,600 miles. You probably have around 3,000K on your bike or more. The dealer found that the rear wheel was misaligned and that caused the rear wheel bearings to fail. Take it to your dealer and have him look at the rear wheel alignment. My...

"Blackhole" at the rear of the saddle

Blackhole When I work on my seat hinge bolts I cover the area with adhesive carpet cover. You can buy it at Home Depot, Lowe's, or a carpet supply house. It is sticky on one side so it won't slide around. Works great and holds down the frustration level.

    Parking Brake "Sticky"

Parking Brake :yes:Check your battery voltage and connections! I have a 2011 RTS and had the same problem. Found out that the battery voltage was low even though I rode it 4 days a week. Put a battery tender on it and it will probably bring the volts up on the battery to stop this condition.
