• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Air intake on Suspension Compressor

Air Compressor Filter I am guessing from the silence, that no one knows the answer. I am thinking that if it does not have a filter or can be serviced, than the compressor will have a definite used by date .

    Air intake on Suspension Compressor

Does anyone know if there is a filter on the intake side of the suspension compressor, and if so where to access it. It seems to me that the compressor lives under the machine in a very dusty environment (especially if you ride some dirt roads) and should be serviceable. Anyone....

    Throttle body issue

Gummed up Bushings It is my belief that the oil in the air box is being drawn into the throttle body by the air flow and this is what is gumming up the throttle shaft bushings

correlation between oil level and throttle body problems Has anyone looked at the correlation between the oil in the air box and the throttle body problem. I have seen two throttle bodies replaced, and both bikes had oil in the air box. The throttle bodies seemed to be gummed up in the...

Night time Just go out when it is dark and turn on the Spyder ignition and you will see the difference. You don't have to ride it.

    Rear tire wear

The reason that same size tires are recommended on 4x4 vehicles is to prevent wind-up inside the transmission. Not a problem you will encounter on a Spyder

Display change at night The display does change color at night to a predominately blue color. As soon as it get dark mine changes and the brightness is fine for night time riding. Mine even changes when I ride into my shed during the day if the light are not on. If your Spyder is not changing...

    Code P1614

Code P1614 repaired Well SPYYDERMAN's RT is alive and well. He rang me last night to say the throttle body has been replaced with a new one and the problem has gone. Apparently the butterfly shaft on the original throttle body was sticking intermittantly and this was causing the problem...
