• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Michigan roads or sites to see

M26 between Phoenix and Cobber Harbor is awesome. I would also go up Brockway Mountain Dr which is off M26. I was up there last summer with my Spyder and it was a blast.

    Ear / Hearing Protection

I believe this is the same guy that previously sold Helmets with this system already installed. I had purchased a carbon fiber quiet ride helmet and found that it actually had more wind noise than my HJC FG-17 while wearing ear plugs. The owner was great to deal with since he let me return the...

    Antifreeze leak?

I had this same exact problem last winter on my 2014 RSS. All I had to do was tighten a hose clamp up and it fixed the problem. Check the easy stuff first.

Confused About Rear Car Tires Options

I just installed the General Altimax on the rear of my RSS and its the best thing I've done to my Spyder so far. I've only ridden about 150 miles on it so far but it is so much better than the stock Kenda. I didn't have any problems in the rain with it so far but it wasn't raining real hard. No...

    Sheepskin overlay on Seat

I used an Alaskan leather sheepskin when I had my Concours. It helped but doesn't take the place of a good seat. The seat on my RSS is so much better I don't even use it anymore.

BRP Special: Spyder Riding Course for $50USD

I think this would probably be a very worthwhile class to take. I know when I took the class for 2 wheel motorcycles I learned a lot of good things about how to ride better. I think no matter how good of a rider you are there is always something to be learned. I'll be looking into whether one of...

D's Rod & Cycle in Jackson Michigan

I just wanted to let everyone know what a great experience I had getting the rear tire replaced on my 2014 RSS at D's Rod and Cycle in Jackson Michigan. He has done some work previously on my old motorcycle and did a great job. I bought a new General Altimax tire from him and took my spyder to...

    H7 Bulb Replacement

I have found removing the H7 bulbs to be a gigantic pain. I tried installing the LED's on my RSS from xenondepot with no success since the clips have to be modified like previously mentioned. In the process of removing one of the bulbs I damaged the bracket where the clip locks into. I bought a...

    H-7 LED replacement lights

Thanks! That would be great if we could just order the pieces that go on the bulb that hold it in the headlight. Please let us know if you hear anything about being able to buy them separately.

    I wish Kawi made Spyders

I had a first gen Kawasaki Concours before my Spyder and that thing was absolutely bulletproof. I'd still be riding it if I hadn't wrecked it. I personally think Kawasaki makes the best motorcycle engines. Sorry to hear about all your problems that you are having.

XexonDepot Extreme LED installed success !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for the post. I ran into this same problem. Unfortunately I didn't have the option of returning them since I bought them this winter when they were on sale and didn't get around to installing them until this spring. I wasn't overly impressed with xenondepots customer service since their...

Has anyone given their Spyder a "Name"???

My twin daughters named mine Larry.

    Iron Butt

Congratulations Congratulations! I did the SS1000 on my Kawasaki Concours and it was a lot of fun but pretty tough also. I think it would be easier on my Spyder since it has cruise control and highway pegs which my Concours did not. Great job on the awesome achievement. I love being able to...

    Redneck Engineering at Work!

That's a really good idea for a place to mount your gps. I wouldn't call that redneck at all.
