• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Where can I d/load the Can-am Dealer App for my Zumo XT?

Hello to All, Anyone know where I can download the Can-am Dealer App to install on my Zumo XT? I have a Zumo 590 with that app on it but I don't know what it is named on the 590. If I can find it on the 590, I could transfer it to my computer and then use the POI Loader to put it on my XT...

After Switched Power for GPS - Any reason not to use gas/temp gauge power?

Just so I fully disclose all relevant data, I play my music and get voice commands wirelessly through a Sena 20S.

After Switched Power for GPS - Any reason not to use gas/temp gauge power?

At the risk of being a dummy (never bothered me before), does the right side mean when sitting on the Spyder?

After Switched Power for GPS - Any reason not to use gas/temp gauge power?

GPS Power No luck with this post in the RT - Touring Forum, thought I'd try here. I'm moving my GPS (Zumo XT) to above the dashboard on my 2017 RTL. Last step is to power the unit. Looks like attaching the GPS leads to either the gas or temp gauge would be pretty easy. Any reason not to? Don't...

After Switched Power for GPS - Any reason not to use gas/temp gauge power?

Hello, I'm moving my GPS to above the dashboard on my 2017 RTL. Last step is to power the unit. Looks like attaching the GPS leads to either the gas or temp gauge would be pretty easy. Any reason not to? Don't want to awaken any "undocumented features." Thanks in advance for any help. I would...

GPS - How do the Nav6 & Zumo XT compare? Impressions on either?

The two Nav6's I had were completely trouble-free. The setup was a one-time thing. My main concern is readability. I did a ride on Tuesday and the 590 was nearly impossible to read in direct sunlight. The brightness was set on 100%. Readability was not an issue with my Nav6's. Really wondering...

GPS - How do the Nav6 & Zumo XT compare? Impressions on either?

Been a few years, but I'll try to reconstruct. I used the Dash Mount from JT's Spyder Store with RAM mounts to put the GPS above the Spyder's dash board. This gives a way better line of sight for the GPS. The GPS unit was mounted into a 4-button BMW cradle, found on ebay. Power came from a...

GPS - How do the Nav6 & Zumo XT compare? Impressions on either?

Hello, I recently bought a 2017 Spyder RTL with only 6000 miles on it. This is my third Spyder. I put a BMW Nav 6 GPS on each of the first two.The RTL came with a Zumo 590, which I will probably replace with either another Nav 6 or the Zumo XT. I'm familiar with the Nav 6 but have never seen a...

2017 RT Limited GPS Re-Location to above dash - who makes the mount?

Greetings, I just acquired a 2017 RT Limited with the Zumo 590. It is mounted by ignition key. I'd like to move it so that the GPS would more in my line of sight above the instrument cluster. I've seen this done. However, I can't remember the name of the company who makes this possible. There...

Where to tap into "switched" electrical line for 2014 RT Limited.

FuzeBlock Yes, Rawhide Kid - turning the key to On energizes the relay which turns on the FuzeBlock. The FuzeBlock allows 5 or maybe 6 (can't remember) connections and each connection can be either switched or always on depending on how the fuse is inserted. I have my GPS and Autocom using...

Where to tap into "switched" electrical line for 2014 RT Limited.

Switched Power FWIW - I put my FuzeBlock in the rear trunk (for easy access) and put a PosiTap on the license plate light wire (switched) for the trigger wire to the relay. Had to remove the trim around the trunk - only 8 Torx screws. This on a 2011 RT-S, but I'd guess (with no guarantee) that...

Wiring Issue in 2011 RT-S - Heads up!

I just had a disastrous wiring problem occur. I was riding about 90 miles from home and my 2011 RT-S died on me. I went into a store and when I came out and turned the key - nothing! Gauges didn't move and the multi-function display did not light up. The parking brake would not disengage...

    Schuberth c3 SRC communication system

Schuberth and SRC I had a Schuberth C3 with the SRC system about 4 years ago. When it worked, it was wonderful! I'd guess that this was about the time the SRC system was introduced. It had some pairing issues and got to be frustrating when pairing didn't happen. As I said, when it worked, it...

Where is the GPS Plug? What connector fits?

GreenDragon - Thank you for for your thoughts. I did complete my task and got the GPS and Autocom powered, although it does look rather amateurish. While I'm happy to have that done, I am unhappy with BRP GPS location. I will be moving it to the top of the dash, as you suggest. Already have the...
