• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

How old were you when you bought your spyder? what are your thoughts on it?

how old 52 when I bought the Spyder. I still have a Yamaha Majesty scooter for around town and a Suzuli Volusia for fun. The Spyder is one of the best bikes I have ever owned.

Staring at the Spyder Gawking at the Spyder is almost an understatement. Everywhere I go with this thing, people stare, wave, give the thumbs up and ask a million questions if I'm stopped somewhere. Kids love the Spyder. They point and smile and stare. Makes me feel like a celebrity. Heck...

North to Alaska Maybe 35 years ago, I might have attempted the 5000 miles from my home to Anchorage, but now, only in my mind. We plan on taking the Spyder along with us in the back of a soon to be purchased 5th wheel toy hauler and ride it around Alaska weather, road conditions and...

Jammers don't work at all. They did a whole hour on Myth Busters on ways to defeat speed measuring devices. Nothing but luck and paying close attention to what's happening around you make a difference, other than staying within a reasonable speed of the actual limit. Keep in mind too that...

    Radar detectors...Opinions?

Don't waste your money on a radar detector. As a past law enforcement officer, I can tell you that they simply don't work. Most agencies are going to laser which has pin point accuracy and only produces a signal that a detector will pick up for a second while the target is being tracked. Same...

We were kind of procrastinating about buying the Spyder or not, until I went on a dealer's web site that had Can-Am's huge incentive program that included one-thousand dollars in free accessories and three year extended warranty no charge. Add that to a $14085.00 price tag and the fact that the...

A Non Owners Impression after eviewing Forum

Buying one anyway.... Like others on this forum, I wanted to do my research before I made any final decision on whether or not to purchase a Spyder. The information that I have been able to obtain here and at Spyder forums and web sites around the world, has convinced me that making the foray...
