• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Yes. I put my 2012 seat on my 2014. The difference is the lack of the back rest hole that the newer bikes have.

    When to change battery.

    Put a voltmeter on the battery and start it. If the voltage is low before you start it, it could be the charging system not being up to the task. If the voltage is good but dumps when starting, it is probably the battery.

    My 1330 is very slow to warm up. On a nice 50 degree fall or spring day, it will take much longer to get to temp than my 998 did. Probably close to 10 miles before the temp stabilizes.

    Today, in the arctic north (southern Minnesota) it was 60 degrees and sunny. We did have steady winds in the 30mph range with gusts in the low 50s. Not nice to be out in for any length of time but, we still have not had to shovel anything.

    Here, in southern Minnesota, if you aren't going to ride in the wind, you aren't going to ride. Like many others, we get a kick out of hearing that some part of the country is suffering with 20 or 25 MPH winds. That is pretty normal here.

    I have had three different scooters in my riding rife. Only one was big enough for the highway but, I really liked them all. For me, they are much more comfortable to ride because you don't have to have your legs around the tank.
