• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Replacing windshield arm

Hey, heated the sleeves with a soldering gun; then replaced a screw but not all the way in; and then beat on the screw until the whole sleeve slid a bit. Took the screw out and punched the sleeve the rest of the way out. I have punched on the sleeve a good bit before and it wouldn't move, but...

    Replacing windshield arm

Yes, perhaps it is a matter of getting the sleeve out of the riser. A post mentioned the two dissimular metals may be corroded together. Thanks

    Replacing windshield arm

Can't remove the cover that the risers go through. All risers have a sleeve in them that won't move, and they won't separate from the cover which has to lift through the risers.

    Starting Issue on 2014 RTL

RT 2014 222000kms. Often times my RT Limited cranks very slowly. When that happens, I release the starter button and immediately press it again. The second try always cranks with authority just like it is now getting full power to the starter.

    1330 actual Miles per Gallon

409 KM Last summer , when going from Calgary thru Saskatoon, One tank took me 409 km in 4 hours and 10 minutes. I got better mileage after a few thousand miles on the engine. That was 2 lane roads and 10% above speed limit. Eco mode saves ~4% in cruise control or if you don't make any throttle...

    Need help!

rear brake pads Yes, any calliper that is also used for the emergency brake, like the spider, requires the piston to rotate as it is pushed back. My C clamp with a moveable head to push the piston back simply rotates with the piston as it pushes the piston back. My pads were paper thin when...

    Front Brakes

front brakes Go ahead as stated before. Just don't let the service manual procedures scare you. They would have you hook up the buds computer system and bleed the brakes in a complicated maneuver involving multiple pressure categories and what have you. Just don't get any air in the lines...

    Question about RPM's

Rev it up Most vehicle drivers in North America are used to lugging their big bore engines in the hopes of saving fuel. I had an uncle in the 60's who went through engines in his Volkswagon bug because he wouldn't keep the revs up. For the first few months on my 2014 RT ,I didn't hit 4000 rpm...
