• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

I can't make up my mind!!!

I was looking at a few pictures and I wonder if anyone has done anything creative with that seat. I seem to get the impression that if the driver's part of the seat were about 2" higher, could the foot controls still be properly accessible...I can't ryde with my feet that far forward and my RS...

RS rider takes the F3 for a demo ride.

I still have my '11 RS This thread is a fun read...I have similar not quite negative feelings about the F model seating model. I rode for many years but more in the sports cruiser "genre"...My last were a V-65 Sabre and a 900 Trident. For years I've ridden with my feet kinda under my butt. I...

    Spyder compliance

You folk have been really helpful. I had considered, albeit briefly, selling mine and buying over there but, even with the adjustable risers, the BRP driving lamps, the Givi rigid bags and the Corbin seat, I was only allowed near 9k on a trade-in so a flat out sale kinda puts a damper on it...

    Spyder compliance

I have a beautiful '11 RS Sm5 with only 18k on her. I'm thinking of an extended stay in the UK and I'm hoping I can take the Spyder. Anyone here any ideas on what would have to be done to bring my Spyder into compliance with UK requirements...?

    annybody switching for the f3

Oh yes....one of the most comfortable bikes I had ever ridden. I've no doubt that some enterprising soul will come up with a "rear-set" rig to get the feet back under your rump.

Just thank the Lord there was F1 US Grand Prix earlier.

    f3

I like the F3 but not ecstatic about it. I have my '11 RS SM and it runs like a scalded cat. The F3 is a good lookin' machine but until I can get my feet under me instead of out front, the RS is safe.

    OUT WITH THE V-TWIN

Isn't that the little Honda TT Replica......my dealership had one a few years back.

    Horsepower.....something to think about

WHY.....? It has lasted and served us for years...there's no need to change for change's sake.

    Introducing the 2015 Can-Am Spyder F3!

Get rid of those forward cruiser pegs and put a set of decent handlebars so driver assumes a more leaned forward attitude and give it manual transmission and I might consider it. I wonder how long a rear tire will last on it.....meanwhile, my '11 RS SM runs like a top.

    Bob D.

I've always been a fan of Dune and I have copies of both versions of the movie. The SyFy channel made a decent version that played more on the political side of the story. I even have a Boris Vallejo version of a crysknife.

    Rear tire mileage

First rear tire replacement on a 2011 RS SM at 16,507 miles....good or bad...?

Checking the coolant on a brand new Spyder

Someone here posted a photo of a very short section of flex LED strip that you can lower into that cavity and backlight the reservoir.

    GoPro Mount

Please not that these types of mounts have the camera putting the "balls" in tension so you'll have to make sure that the camera sits on top of the mount to put the "balls" in compression....the proper way....should be no problem for you hackers out there.
