• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Leaky trunk

Well, after 2 attempts by the dealer and numerous adjustments to the hood over the last couple of months, I found the problem. It's not the hood that leaks, the water is coming in from behind the trunk. Try this, open the hood & remove your manual. Slowly pour water over the female latching...

    Leaky trunk

Does anyone else have a chronic leaky trunk? Everytime I wash :spyder: water makes its way into the trunk to the spot that holds the manual.

Just to let you know, the Corbin saddle and backrests for the Spyder are ready for ordering. I ordered mine online last night.

    GPS Questions

I went simple & cheap. A Tom Tom 1 mounted with the suction cup on my F1 winshield plugged into the 12V receptacle on my dash. My only complaint is that the screen is hard to see through my polarized sunglasses.

New Stuff for The Spyder YOU GOTA SEE

I want one of those saddles with backrests! Anybody have any idea how much they cost? Does it mount on the existing seat or replace it? Corbin...great job!

    Bike Route

Actually I have 3 GPS, one for each vehicle. The Spyder has a Tom Tom 1 but I think all 3 have the option of setting the route. The more common settings are "fastest route, shortest distance" but most have a "bike route or avoid highways" option. Try it, you'll like it!

    Bike Route

I tried something different on my ride yesterday. I set my GPS to navigate to destinations using a "bike route." She took me places I had never been before. I've lived in this area for years but never driven half of the roads she took me down. Give it a try, you'll be amazed at the beautiful...

    12V plug

I'm going to have the dealer put in a 12V plug but don't really like the idea of putting it in the trunk. I'll be using it for a GPS and maybe a heated vest. Any suggestions where to put it (be nice)?

    Hindle Exhaust

I'll be getting my Hindle next week but the dealer said I have to sign a bunch of waivers (not to be used on the street etc.). Have any of you gotten tickets for too loud a muffler with the Hindle? It sounds deeper on the sound clip but it doesn't sound that much louder.

    Hot spot

My muffler has developed a "hot spot" so I called my dealer asking how BRP was handling this defect. He said this is the first he's heard of it. Has anyone had this muffler hot spot covered under warranty? How did they handle it (new muffler, upgrade credit, repaint)?

    popping back thru air box?

Yes, when I was in Texas in January it felt like a cylinder was misfiring and the oil light came on. I pulled over and checked the oil & it was fine. Started it up and it ran just fine...until last week. It's misfired 7-10 times in 2 weeks. I just pull over, shut it off, wait a couple of seconds...
