• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Recall - 2017-2019 RT and F3 Engine Output Shaft Can Break!

    Got my recall notice in the mail today. My 17 RTL was produced in January 2017. I wish they would replace the whole transmission instead of just replacing the shaft. I have 37000 miles on mine now and that would give me all new clutches too. Faster turn around too like others have said.

    Yes I wear fingerless leather gloves with padded palms for summer ryding. When it gets colder I wear full Leather gloves. I can’t Ryde without them it just doesn’t feel right.

    Hi Patrick, go to YouTube and search for 'TheSmoaksVlogs' - Shawn Smoaks is a Spyder mech who works at a Can Am dealership in Washington State. He did a video on the problem you are describing. It was a while back though. You may have to search his videos. Hope this helps. Artie

    So many complaints about the Spyders. Anyone with no problems?

    I have a 17 RTL with 36000 miles on it. Had 5300 when I got it in July 2020. Only been to a dealer one time for front sprocket recall. I do all other maintenance items myself. Never had a code light up. No other problems. It has been a very dependable Spyder.
