• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What Type of Rider Are You?

I haven't got my Spyder , yet. June 20 ought to be the day. Basically, if a mod gives mew a skid mark, it is worth it.

    Saddle Bags

I won't be carrying passengers on tours, so I am considering this tail bag as an alternative to saddle bags: http://www.baysideperformance.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1547_1584_1585&products_id=9073 I like the duffel style, precut channel for the seat design of the bag. It has...

Police motorcycle units should consider Spyder.

Danimal, I agree. Like I said, I see it fulfilling traffic enforcement on freeways and highways where the LEO won't face the restrictions of heavy traffic. As to patrol; cars, well whoa betide thee that don't get out of their way!

Police motorcycle units should consider Spyder.

Like I said, I can see the Spyder for freeway traffic enforcement. In fact, I am sure it would excel at that. But watch LEO M/C's when they ride in a congested city like Vancouver. They are riding slow, and executing maneuvers that really, only a two wheeler would be able to in the confined...

Police motorcycle units should consider Spyder.

The Spyder may be good for highway patrol, but in busy cities, I suspect it will be greeted by M/C LEO's with a fair amount of suspicion. Why? SPACE. The Spyder has a huge footprint compared even to an Electraglide. M/C LEO's need to be able to weave in and out of traffic with as little effort...

    More parts to install (HID)

Magic, Awesome. thanks for the update. I look forward to seeing the pics. I hope to have my silver PE #3034 by the end of June, and I plan on new exhaust and HID's very soon after.

    More parts to install (HID)

Lamont, I don't see the HID kit on his web site. Which brand is it, and how much did it set you back?

    Wanted: Hindle Pipe

Save yourself a lot of money, and find a motorcycle dealer that carries Hindle exhaust. A Hindle oval can, with "Euro" style tip, stainless steel, choice of colour, 2 1/4" through is less than half the BRP/Can-Am Hindle pipe. And their "stock" pipes look good, and are likely identical.
