• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Left front panel held on with 2 screws, and 3 plastic rivets. Open frunk to get to 2 plastic rivets.

    The shield goes on the right side. Tomorrow I will start the air management mod from Spyderpops. Also bought the Y-gasket from Honda. I will also perform heat wrap from headers to muffler. Hope it only takes the day. Alan:thumbup:

    Sticky Seat

    The seat has some adjustment room with the bolts holding it on. Press down, turn key and lift seat. Check the bolts and make adjustment.:2thumbs:

    Comfort seat, Ultra Touring windshield???

    I have both 25" touring windshield and comfort seat. I love them. I do have a lot of wind noise but I'm 6'2". I even have an extra 25" windshield. Also remember if you put on this windshield and you plan on the up and out mirror extensions you would have to cut the windshield.:spyder2:

    Delivery checklist ?

    I also, received the pre inspection checklist and I did sign off on it. All recalls done except I found out 2 months later that they had been signed off done and sent to BRP linking the recalls to the VIN # but 2 of the recalls were not done. They have been completed by another dealer.

    Today was a great day. Went for a ryde with an another spyder ryder. From Austin to south of San Antonio. Total roundtrip 223 miles. No problems, learning to build trust in my spyder. :clap:

    Anyone use these mirror extensions?

    I also have the ultra touring 25" windshield. I want to put on the up and out extensions and a 4.5" riser. One of the threads I was read stated the member used a heat gun to soften the windshield and they bent the windshield so it fit.:dontknow:

    Hey all.....

    I recently had a string of bad luckwith my new spyder. It was in the shop 3 times before the first 600 mile check. Now that the work has been done, I have 300 miles of carefree riding. Confidence in the spyder is improving. :2excited:

    600 mile service?

    Had mine in the shop early for other reasons. 529 miles on the spyder. $329 was the cost.
