• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    0-60 and potential top speed?

Those 900ace motors have factory turbos on them in the UTVs and snowmobiles. Making 140+hp and speeds of 115+. This is going to be a fun ride!

    Ryker on the Road!

Those ACE engines are very nice power plants! On the dirt and snow side of BRP's lineup, guys are really cranking out the hp on the 900 ace with just a programming change. I'd love to try out a 900 Rally edition if it fits my 6' 2" frame.

Anyone own both a Spyder and a Polaris Slingshot?

I'm torn between the two, although I admit that I haven't driven either. I'm hoping that next spring will finally find a new ride in my garage. I'm curious to see what people think of the two in comparison to each other.

    Let's see your Spyder!

That blue is sharp! I'm going to try to hold out until this time next year and pick that exact bike up, hopefully when it's on sale.

Daytona has Sport Mode - can it be retro-fitted to other models??

I'm guessing it does more than just alter the tc. My sport mode on my skidoo changes the torque curve making a very noticeable difference in acceleration over standard mode.

Anyone ever ride the U.P. of MI.?

In the west end are the porcupine mountains and bond fall flowage.

    Traction control disable feature

I'd like to see a computer update to reduce the tc like on the 2017's. I'd run out and buy a 2016 in a heartbeat. But I really want the TC feature like on the 2017.

Not a Spyder owner so I can't relate to the DESS issue but, I am a Ski-Doo owner and they too have the DESS system and I've never heard of a single issue on one of their snowmobiles. Maybe it's an entirely different system? It is surprising that an electrical minded individual hasn't figured...

Widowsson, I think I can hear you from Michigan! Sweet bikes folks, keep them coming. Does anyone make wraps for Spyders like they do in the snowmobile world?

    Let's see your Spyder!

I can't post a picture of my Spyder as I don't own one (YET), but I'd love to see yours! It would be especially cool to see any customization you've done. Who's going to get us started?

2017 - Turning off the Nany

I watched a couple youtube vids of the 2017 F3-S Daytona model and the guy says the rear traction control can be turned off. Is this the case for all 2017 F3 models? I'm not a yellow fan, but the blue looks pretty nice! I think the sport mode will be a hit as well. I have it on my 2016 Ski...
