• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Traded my 2013 RTS SM 5 for a Harley today

I'm not sure I understand this either. I've got a 2013 STS, and it's rock solid in the wind, unlike any 2 wheeler I've had, the last one an 800 lb Harley Softtail. A gust of crosswind that would definitely move the Harley won't touch the Snyder with those 3 wheels on the ground. And that's...

Thinking of buying a Spyder can-am, help please...

I've got a 2013 ST-S with zero problems. No heat problems, although I did have the warranty heat fix done just to be safe. The dealer you buy it from is more important than any difference in quality issues from one model or year to the other.

    2013 ST-S - I like the Heat

Yes, I had the recall work done by Pitbull in Springfield. I had no issues - no signs of heat damage. Len said they only saw two with signs of problems on the brake cylinder - one of those was from Texas, the other from Las Vegas.

    2013 ST-S - I like the Heat

I've got a 2013 ST-S that generates a lot of heat around the area where your feet are. Enough in fact that it's a bit uncomfortable on 90F+ hot and humid days here in Arkansas. But I don't ride on those hot days anyway - didn't when I had the Harley. But it's cooler weather here 8 out of 12...

    Is ST-S back in production?

I bought by ST-S in late March of this year. It was delayed at the factory because they were doing the "recall" work then. I would think they would be all done with that 2 months later.

Brought a pizza home - on the Spyder!

This was something I could never do on a motorcycle - went for a ride this morning, then on the way home, stopped at Papa Murphy's and bought a large pizza, and brought it home in the trunk! It folded up a little at the edges, but survived the 20 mile ride home just fine.

    Marvelous Engineering

My view on a small sample of their quality I'm in the injection molding industry. We make lots of components for industry. We've got parts in Harley Davidson & Triumph motorcycles & thousands of other products. So I've got an eye for little details in molded plastic parts. First thing I...

    Marvelous Engineering

    I haven't had the experience with other Spyders, but I've got a 2013 ST-S and I agree it's a pretty slick machine.

    First time checking in

2008/2009 would have been an RS. You should stop at a dealer, sit on an RS, ST and RT. The riding position is different on each. RS is a bit of a lean forward. ST and RT more straight up. I've got a 2013 ST-S.
