• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Manual vs automatic transmission.

    Test ride both of them. I have an F3-S with manual and I love it, but I also test rode a semi-auto. I can see the allure, but I still prefer manual just out of habit. I also like the fact that I can leave the bike in gear and not HAVE TO put on the parking brake if I don't want to. Good luck...

    What's best for Cleaning the Windshield? Anyone use Pledge?

    Same here. A warm wet towel on the windshield for laid there for a couple of minutes makes the bugs slide away. Then I add plexus with microfiber towel.

    What's in your Spyder Tool Bag?

    It would be wise to carry a couple of 12mm wrenches and a spring-pulling tool. All this mainly if your parking brake fails to disengage. Pierre at Can Am Accessories did a great video on how to do a roadside fix on this. I'd hate to have a trip interrupted due to the parking brake motor crapping...

    Gustafsson Windshield for my F3

    I'm considering the 7JUROCK as well. You mentioned you got the 27" version. Mind me asking how tall are you? I'm at 5'11" and my "new-to-me" F3 came with the route 129 shield. My head is blasted by the wind like nobody's business.
