• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Kind of an expensive day - 28k service

$2000 to replace the belt and tire? Parts would be about $350. Even at the terrible California labor prices That is a screw job. I have done it in two 1/2 hrs and I am not a mechanic. I have just owned 5 Spyders and hate dealers prices. (also retired Sheriff's Deputy)

Torque settings for the rear rotor, caliper, and axle nut on 2013?

I change tires on the SRA-SF club bikes. I have done about 25 rear tires and on the rear axle nut I use 165 Ft Lbs. The F3S would be scary loose at 97 Ft Lbs I would think. I see that number on many posts by riders. After 2012 there are no longer a cotter pin used on the axle so a nut loosening...

How does steering and handling of '13 RT compare with Pre-'13's?

13 handling I have a 2013 RT and just finished a 650 mile ride through California Sierras and Yosemite Park. I was riding with two ST models and worked my ass off. When I got home my BajaRon sway bar I ordered had come in and I put it on. Back to some twisties and night and day better. However...

Took my 2013 Spyder RT-S in for recall. Good thing the brake master cylinder had started to melt.
