• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Oil Change help

castrol This is what I use: Castrol Power1 10W-50 Synthetic 4T Motorcycle Oil. Not sure of the Molybdenum level but I cannot believe Amsoil is the only one with low Molybdenum. I will do more research and report back.

Spyder Group - in the Buffalo/Rochester area?

How do we get one started? It seems our area doesn't fit in any of the regional forums. Lots of spyders in the southern tier or as I call it Extreme Western New York.

    BRP Owners Events - 2016

typo rnet: I believe you have a typo in your last post. Lake George is at the east end of the Adirondacks "Lake George is at the west end of the Adirondack Mountains with the Green and White Mountain ranges to the east in Vermont."

    Oil use?

Dry Sump System With a dry sump system does it really matter if the system goes down a half a quart or even close to a full quart? Does it warrant adding oil between changes? It seems to me all this concern over oil level is contrary to my understanding of how a dry sump system operates...

    ISCI Hand Brake Stopping Distance?

I also had a bad master cylinder from them last fall. They got a bad batch from Harley Davidson. Yes the only Harley part on my bike failed. Great guys at ISCI sent one almost overnight. I also am paraplegic and have nothing to compare it to as far as using foot brake. I do think it could stop...

ISCI I have about 2500 miles experience with my 2014 RS SE5 and the ISCI Brake. I read the other thread on this topic. Mine brakes sufficiently however I have nothing to compare it with as I can't use the footbrake. I suspect my experience is different as many posters on the other thread have...

Another tire thread!!! For RS not RT

Soft compound/2014 I have a 2014 RS with the softer compound tire and got 3500 miles and it's shot. I have narrowed my search/research to the Nitto NT450 or the Yokohama S Drive. Size 205/55/15 The other size that corrects speedo error is 215/60/15 (more brand choices) It is nearly a full inch...

Drive by wire throttle delay fix/mod

Hello fellow spyder owners. I have a 2014 RS SE5 and find the delayed/vague throttle annoying. I've seen this module for many import cars that eliminate the delay to give more real time throttle response. Anybody know of such a device for the spyder? See below: Sprint Booster Drive-by-Wire...
