• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Signature LED Floorboard Lights - So Much Better Visibility

I love mine for just that reason. I use the BRP version, and it works very well (and is much more solid than any of the others I've seen). You are far more visible from the side, especially at night.

PLEASE ATTACH ALL PICTURES/IMAGES AS THUMBNAILS!

I hear you. The forum is appreciated and yours to run as you see fit. I don't see that one post about not using forum features and using others in a specific way will solve the issue that you seem to be looking to solve, but I agree that not every challenge is worth the time to address. My...

PLEASE ATTACH ALL PICTURES/IMAGES AS THUMBNAILS!

I don't want to be the naysayer here, but while I've read this now, I can't imagine I'll truly remember it six months from now, nor will many others. If there 's a specific way to do things, and one not to do, is there any way to force what you want rather than relying on the hope that every...

Has anyone with a 2024 Spyder RTL installed HeliBars?

I tried the risers on my 2020 RT-L, and while it did bring the handles to the right position, the angle just wasn't comfortable, so I bit the bullet and invested in the Helibars. Worth the cost, but probably not necessary for everyone. Also, I later realized that the backrest (mine is...

Feedback on the new Forum Format?

One more thought - while I know we are all happy to have new members, having a thread for each one that sticks out in our view of "new" threads and sits empty probably isn't the most useful thread to create, or our best look in not saying hi to every new person (and I'm not suggesting we do)...

Do other Short people have an issue reaching the 2025 RT Sea to Sky brake pedal?! What are others like me doing?

I have a 2020 RT-L, which ought to be fairly similar, and I"m 5-5. I've added a brake pedal riser (absolutely essential) as well as floorboard risers. I also changed out the handlebars and eventually went with Helibars to put hands where I want them to be (Be careful to get the right...

Feedback on the new Forum Format?

Small request, but I would also like to see 25-30 posts before clicking "view more". I wouldn't mind the square profile pics returning (over the circles). I miss the post counter, but I imagine that may not be transferable. And, I have a suspicion that reducing image size if too large may...

Rever also integrates those maps - it's a great way to plan a long ride.

Apple CarPlay update - what is the secret to getting it working properly??

It sounds like CarPlay is just as bad as the previous version of the cluster without CarPlay. It should work, no question about it, but from what I have read here there is little chance that it will work in the way that it does in my car. I wouldn't stop testing it if that's important to...

I Am Amazed no one has mentioned the 'New Look' site!

I just am seeing it now - it's nice to have it updated. Thank you to whomever did the work to make the changes!

Will a 2024 Sea to Sky let me navigate via my Samsung phone?

I'd consider fully bypassing the Spyder and just getting a good holder for your phone - that's what I do with my iPhone, and I don't have to deal with BRP dash, which really never works properly, and it is very limiting. Sometimes the easiest answer is the best.

Spyderlovers IS NOT UNSAFE - the Security Certificate did Expire, but is now renewed!

Yes, but my post was actually a new thread that was then moved here from a separate thread on the same issue - it would have been best deleted. I wasn't aware of this thread or I wouldn't have bothered with it.

Spyderlovers IS NOT UNSAFE - the Security Certificate did Expire, but is now renewed!

Not sure how to reach the current powers that be, so I'm posting it this way. The site is coming up as a security risk because the security certificate has expired. Hopefully this will be seen by the right person, and the post deleted for me. As always, thanks for keeping the site going!

New Spyder sold with no factory warranty - is this right? What say you all?

At least the dealership was honest about the warranty - admittedly strange, but they did let you know.

Another close call! I need more reflective striping!

BRP makes a great light that goes on the floorboards, it's hard to miss. The BRP model is really solid: https://can-am-shop.brp.com/on-road/us/en/219401038-driver-floorboards-signature-lights-can-am-spyder.html
