• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    2015 F3S Oil Pump Failure, replaced, engine still ticking - any ideas on what component/s might have been damaged?

    Had same thing happen at about 12k miles. Fiber pump gear failed. Found out that this isn’t uncommon. I would buy a used motor and before putting it on the road, replace the oil pump gears. Easy job costing around $60 plus oil. That is now part of my 10K service.

    We have a 16’ x 82” car trailer. Spyder front all the way right. Bike left, front tire beside spyder. Still room for folding ramp to lay down behind bike.

    DESS - what does it do exactly

    I bought the Megatech license for my Buds and turned off DESS on both of my 15 f3’s. Took longer to boot laptop than perform the proceedure. Faulty DESS can leave you stranded. No downside to turning it off, if someone wants to steal it they don’t hotwire it, they roll it into a trailer.

    1330 interchange - will a 2019 RT motor fit a 2015 F3?

    I may have to swap out my motor. 2015 F3. Oil pump gear failed. Pulled the sump cover and cleaned out debris, replaced gears but not sure yet as to extent of damage. Seems most used engines are from an RT.

    F4 still best choice for an F3?

    Mounted the F4 and find it to be a quality product that does a swell job of keeping the wind at bay. It is maybe too goid as now I have some exhaust smell issues. Will have to find a way to take care of that.

    Has anyone found a better windscreen system than the F4? I don't want to spend that kind of money twice. From what I've read the Blue Ridge is out.

    09 GS longer throttle cables?

    I made an adapter plate out of 1/4" steel. Tapped 4 holes for the handlebars and drilled 3 holes for the steering shaft. Will post pics when I have the final working solution
