• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Over 1000 miles to Florida with no issues. I did drive it several times to restaurants etc and rides pretty good. Obviously you can tell there is a load in the back but nothing outrageous.

I took the whole rig for a test ride today. Everything worked fine. The truck tracked well behind the motorhome. I think it's going to work out well.

I agree that a lot of motorhomes come from the factory at or near the max weight allowed, but not all. I bought mine with a tag axle specifically to handle the weight. It is rated to pull 10,000 lbs so this set up shouldn't be a problem for the RV. I would not try to pull this set up with a...

I got the air helper springs on and it definitely helped bring the back end up to level. I only have 50 PSI in them in this picture. I took it for a ride and it handles well. Highway speeds were not a problem.

I like your design for the trailer. I considered that as an option too. I'm surprised there aren't more companies out there making trailers for this application.

Its going to be close. GVWR is 7050. Empty truck is around 5000. Spyder is 1050. And lift is around 600-800. I'm going to take it to the scales to get it weighed

I share the concerns about the weight distribution of this set up. A couple things I took into consideration. The Spyder has approx. 60% weight on the front wheel (about 600lbs) which are in front of the trucks rear wheel. Also the deck itself is heavier in the front with the extra steel...

My truck is a 2015 F150. The bed is 6 1/2 foot bed which is the "long bed" for the 4 door F150 truck. To get an 8' bed I would have had to go up to a F250. I specifically wanted a 2015 or newer due to the aluminum body. It gives it a better payload capacity. I took it for a ride the way it...

Here are some pictures of my new Spyder travel rig. I travel the US quite a bit in my motorhome while flat towing a vehicle behind. When I got my Spyder this year I had to do some thinking about how to take it with me while I travel and still have a car too. I thought about a Hydra Lift on...

    Fast blinking turn signals

I just purchased and installed a set of fender lights from Lamonster on my 2014 RT. The lights work fine except when I turn on the turn signals. They start off blinking at a normal speed but then speed up to twice as fast. Then they go fast then slow at different rates. Anyone have any...

Just ordered a lift table for the Spyder

Motorcylce lift mod Here's some pics of my Black Widow motorcycle lift modification to lift my Spyder. Two 1" black pipes hold the wood extensions. I had to put the front extension on the lift to fit the Spyder. I open the tire jaw all the way and the Spyder rear tire fits in.
