• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

87 Octane seems to work just fine

I agree. Be particularly careful about hard acceleration from a stop in hot weather. I heard a little pinging when I did that... once.

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

Fortunately, it appears that my fuel gauge is relatively accurate, so if I keep my eye on that as I used to do on most of my bikes, I shouldn't have a problem. In the old days, we had no fuel gauge, but we did have a reserve portion of the gas tank that usually got us to the gas station.

Totally bonkers 'Miles to empty' on Can Am 2023 RTL - can it be fixed?

My RTL has about 4500 miles on it, and I've noticed the auto correction on the miles to empty as I ride. But yesterday it was acting very strange. I left the house with 121 miles to empty, rode 30 miles, and when I got back to the house, I had 160 miles to empty. I can't imagine my route/speed...

Are these Dealer charges normal? Fair?

A few years ago, I was prepared to buy a new Triumph Rocket III. I knew what the advertised price was and it was confirmed by the salesman. When I started with the paperwork at the salesman's desk, he tacked on exorbitant freight and set-up charges. He lost a customer. Buying any kind of motor...

Check out this Rock on the road!

It must've been a windy day to blow that rock on the road like that. :) Going from many years of riding a two wheeler to the Spyder, it has taken some time to get used to avoiding road hazards. Whenever possible, rather than trying to line up my front wheel and one of the rear wheels so that it...

Anybody see a measurable change in fuel mileage with larger diameter rear tire?

According to my manual, it says that my 2023 RTL should have 28 psi in the rear tire. I'm wondering if I increase the pressure by a few pounds, if that will increase my fuel mileage. I understand that some people have mentioned the tire wears out in the center of the tread if the tire pressure...

My first thousand miles on the Spyder

I am quite tall and do not like sitting bolt upright on any motorcycle. I would like to be able to move the handlebars forward on the Spyder, so I would have a bit of stretch to reach the bars and therefore lean forward a bit. Are there any suggestions on how to do this?

Anyone else get this Howling Noise? What's the fix?

I have the howl on my 2023 RTL at about 50 miles an hour. It's very noticeable wearing a full face helmet, but not noticeable when wearing a half helmet. It must be some sort of harmonic in my helmet.

Can't get it back into ECO Mode - am I missing a step, or is it dealer time?

When I took the first ride on the RTL, I thought I was flogging a dead horse. Then I realized it was on Economy mode. I switched it off and noticed I needed much less throttle to do what I was doing when ECO mode was on. I'm still not impressed with the acceleration of the RTL, perhaps because I...

Here's my Strobe light controller for the trunk brake light.

I'm glad you got it working. I purchased several of them and never had a problem with them, so I suspected it was something due to the wiring.

Here's my Strobe light controller for the trunk brake light.

One more thought. Did you correctly identify the ground and hot wire to the brake light? Ground is black and white is the power to the brake.

Here's my Strobe light controller for the trunk brake light.

According to the information amazon, the modulator can only be used on LED lights.

Here's my Strobe light controller for the trunk brake light.

Be sure that you wire them with the IN and OUT wires properly connected. IN: power/ground to flasher. OUT: power/ground to the light.

Here's my Strobe light controller for the trunk brake light.

All of my motorcycles and most of my four wheel vehicles, including my motorhome, have/had strobing brake lights. So naturally I wanted to equip my 2023 RTL with a flashing brake light on the tail trunk. I purchased two brake light flashers for $5.99 at Amazon...
