• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    beep beep

I would guess you do not have your park brake set. It will sound a warning alarm when you turn the key off with out setting the brake. However, after several seconds the alarm will stop. I do not set the brake when parked in the garage, as I have to move it back and forth. I do make sure...

Top Vent Here's copy of an e-mail I received back from Nolan Tech Issue's. Thank you for contacting us at CIMA. If you look close in the light you can see the vent open and close. On the new helmets they added an open and close on the button. Forward Open – Back Closed I hope that this...

Went to Maggie Valley without Spyder

UPDATE #2 Dealer has had Spyder RT for total of 3 weeks, not counting the week it sat in my garage waiting for them to pick it up. They called this AM (1 week after picking it up). Replaced nose bumper cover, MFD console, filter covers and seals. Still leaking oil and they now have ordered...

    Spyder Nose Scraped by Dealer

Fortunately I did not have to demand anything. I sent them pics and they called back, saying they had ordered parts to replace damage one's. Bumpskid was # 4 on my list of Mods. It has moved to #1. I had the opportunity to see quite a few at Maggie Valley and very much liked the way they...

Went to Maggie Valley without Spyder

UPDATE Dealer picked up Spyder today. Fixing oil issue, replacing nose (bumper cover), and replacing L kick panel. No arguements, no shifting of blame. For that I am pleased and hope this time around provides a better out come. They have appologized several times for screwing up our plans...

    Spyder Nose Scraped by Dealer

Update Dealer as been by all accounts very cooperative. The owner/dealership picked up Spyder today and will fix oil problem, replace the nose (bumper cover) as well as the L kick panel. No arguement, for that I give them a thumbs up. By the way, they had offered to bring a demo Spyder for me...

    too much oil from dealer?

I recently had same issue. 10oz over filled. I used a plastic condiment bottle from Dollar Store and a piece of plastic tubing. Squeeze air out of bottle, insert tube, release bottle and oil is suctioned out. Works great and it's cheep. No damage. As NancysToy told me, remove excess oil...

Went to Maggie Valley without Spyder

The saga continues! Thursday AM, pulled bike out of garage to head over to Maggie Valley, a 2 plus hour ride for us. Oil on the floor and bottom side of bike. It just came back from service 2 days prior. Drove car over, enjoyed event as much as possible without Spyder. It took the 2 hour drive...

    Spyder Nose Scraped by Dealer

Canam "only" dealer. Recommended by several on this forum. They are seemingly very knowledgeable on the Spyder. Bosted as to there level of expertise. I suppose I drew the short straw!

    Spyder Nose Scraped by Dealer

I looked the bike over as did a friend who drove me the 85mi. to pick it up. I didn't notice the "scuff" damage until we stopped to eat. The spyder was in front of the window about 12ft away. Ouch! By the way, I had washed the Spyder before taking it to the shop and it was return (lets say...

    Spyder Nose Scraped by Dealer

UPDATE on Spyder Nose Damage Talked with the owner/dealer and no arguement was presented on there part. Some what surprising, I think. They have ordered a new front bumber cover (nose). I fear, however what damage will be done this go round as I have identified several other minor scratches...
