• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    How about a clear film, sort of like what they use as the stone guard on the 622 trailer. I think you can buy it at auto part stores. Just a thought.

    Clueless, been using it for about 9 years on my Yamaha windshield once a week and had no issues. Maybe they changed it? I don't know for sure.

    Has anybody known any factory (bike, auto, or truck) to replace something on an older vehical because they upgraded the next year model? not me. would be nice if a company would eat thousands but I dont see it happening. After all there in business to make money.

    Windshield cleaner?

    I"ve used bug-b-gone on my windshields for years works great. spray on set for 30 sec wash with water. I"ve used it on every surface and had no issues on any of them. got at my wife's NAPA store.

    gps install I saw a video on the gps install and if you have time and a little knowledge it doesn't look all that complicated. there is a bit of body work that has to come of though.:yikes: they said that it should only take a couple hours. look on the BRP site for that video. good luck.:thumbup:

    Sorry Lamonster I didnt quite make clear what I ment about the handling problems. I was talking about what people are saying about the way the bike seems to not handle well inless they make shock adjustments, tire pressure adjustments and some are talking about replacing shocks or even swaybars...

    I've been looking at the new rts and really like it. Have test rode one a few weeks back and have been reading alot of the posts on this site and others. My concerns are with the handling. I"ve been saving for a few years to buy a new bike and with three kids in collage and another getting ready...
