• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    “Survey Says ...”

Ours is used for: recreation. long distance touring(5-6k mi. trips) day rides(will ride 250-300mi. just to go to dinner) overnighters and multiple day trips. Mac:thumbup: P.S. Don't believe in hauling it anywhere, if it still "runs"!

    Aspen Classic mods 1

Really nice looking and should be pretty comfortable to camp in. If I can ask, how much is the total weight of the empty trailer itself? Mac:doorag:

What is the best way to by-pass the frunk lock?

Sooooo the other day while I was in the garage putting my BRP headset from an old helmet into a new helmet, I got to thinking "what-if" my frunk won't open or my seat either, someday?? I've been reading these threads and decided, even though I have had no issues with either, I made a cable-pull...

    CB RADIO/ BLUETOOTH HELP.

Don't quote me on this, but no factory CB for the newer models and if BRP did have one, you would have to have a "wired" headset(cord running from helmet(s) to bike). I tried that route on our '14 RTL and got laughed at!. Macnojoke

    new gas cap

:agree: Mike, when the cap on our RTL went bad(couldn't remove it without gripping it with both hands) and the dealer d/n have a replacement. We were leaving on a trip to Ca. and I d/n want to fight with it on the road, I noticed I had an old Jeep locking gas cap on the shelf in the garage and...

    New BRP patents

What he said and I'm sure with that additional tech., it will push a fully loaded Spyder to close to 40K, so they can recoup the tooling and engineering costs.:dontknow:Mac:doorag:

    Spyder caught fire today

Figured something was up. Just thought it looked weird to flip-flop between what caught fire and then show a new model. Bad press in my opinion. Mac:doorag:

Oil Sprayed down Side Of Spyder RT, What Could Cause This?

I understand what you are saying Ron and it makes total sense, I do the engine warm-up in the garage and that seems to suffice. But I will check it after we/I get home after the 1st. ride and the level at max is just below the top "bubble" on the stick. That's why in my earlier post to you I...

Oil Sprayed down Side Of Spyder RT, What Could Cause This?

I do the "warm" check after I change the oil/filter. After that, if I feel like I've run the bike hard, I will check it at the end of the day or when I'm at the hotel parking lot prior to putting the cover on it for the night, I check it. Like Mike said, "If I don't see a puddle of oil under the...
