• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Stranded on hwy transmission out

Very much agree. I think the real insight here, and one exposed on this board over and over, is that some dealers are just horrible and BRP should run from them. I am so happy with mine but he laments the very points you make here. Now, from a legal perspective, my spyder loving lawyer wife...

    Local BRP's Dealer

Sent a pm, there are two other dealers nearby - I have had great success with one and another spyder owner told me he was very satisfied with the other. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Rumor control on the new 2014's

Local dealer had a 2014 RT that a number of folks tested over about a 4 week window. They did uncover some problems that he would not discuss but said they had been reported and required dx and action. Years ago I had the first Lexus ES 350 sold by my dealer. Two weeks later they were putting...

    Could this be..2014..!!

A new RT with a new engine is coming - what else is coming should be interesting. Too many RT riders running at LOW rpm's - they need a better engine to deliver higher torque at the low end. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD

Hello from San Jose, Renting Spyder RT June 8th

Easy or twisty My wife and I often get up early on weekend and ride up 280 to 84. You can ride up 84 to skyline, head south back to Highway 9 and head back down into Saratoga. We also often get up early and and take 17 over to Santa Cruz (would never do when traffic is up). After bkfst We...

    ST Road Trip Impressions

Ideas As a DC and other training I offer a couple thoughts. If problem is in mid back your seat is less likely to help. Mid back muscles are postural muscles so head, shoulder and arm positions are big deal - as I am guessing was your point. You could try sitting comfortably on wife's spyder...

    Observations at 3K

Happy to see a spyder Has been a life changer for us - and I can tell - she will be driving by summer. We don't see spydrs out here. Our neighbor - who rides a HD - just bought his retirement home outside of Nashville. He said he saw lots of them around the southeast. Yesterday one drive by us...

    Observations at 3K

First, thanks to this group, learning a lot. This is my wife's journey into bikes (I know this is not a motor). I had a minor journey in my youth - she had never been outside a cage in any form. She wanted a HD and I encouraged her to see about something she might enjoy and where I didn't have...

    Cal Sci Windshield review

Size preferences We just installed our Cal Sci this past weekend and road the coast and across a severely windy (windmill) road. I find the shield to have significantly decreased the turbulence and front end stability. I am 6'3" and ordered the xl on out RT with custom seat. I don't like...

    NEW SHOCKS

windshield I too am a new owner and experienced a lot of buffeting on the highway that bothered me. Based on reading this forum I started with getting a new Calsci windshield. Used it on a few hundred mile drive over the weekend and what a difference. We rode on a windmill-laden road that...

    Sudden severe clunk

Thanks, my wife thought that we had tangled with a thick branch and when I checked the belt there was some stuff stuck in two notches so we got that out. When I accelerated I did punch it and the rear tire was half on and off so also could have been that. Strange sound. Speaking of the belt, am...

    Sudden severe clunk

Hi, new RT owners here. Elated - wife new to bikes and I haven't for 25yrs. Anyway, we were out for a ride and I pulled off a winding road shoulder quickly to let a rocket and Porsche by. The road lip was uneven. We got off, let them by and then I started to accelerate from 1st gear when there...
