• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Trailers & warranty

Hi BikerDoc I recently had a rear suspension compressor burn out (my RT was still under warranty) and my preferred dealer was good with replacing it under warranty but BRP (in Australia) wouldn't come to the party until they had a photograph of the rear of my Spyder. Couldn't understand why so...

    rear shock problem

My guess (from my own experience) is that the compressor is burnt out from constantly running. In my case this was caused by the plastic one way valve (why plastic BRP ??) in the system. Replacing mine with an aftermarket metal one way valve once new compressor is available. Regards Kenn

    RT Air Bag pump out..

On the subject of air bag compressors. Mine has now basically burnt out. Possible cause of this maybe the BRP (crappy plastic) one way valve has broken thus causing the compressor to run almost constantly causing it to fail. Have sourced a metal valve that is being installed with a new...

Another solution for people sitting on your bike or protect seat

Another item that may have been missed in this discussion is that the Spyder Sisters unit not only covers the seat but ALL control switches. Seems if people don't actually sit on your Spyder they just can't resit playing with all those switches. I never use the kill switch but have lost count of...

    Missing a Part

Just an item worth checking if you don't have the caps on your stub axles. "Ensure" wires and brake lines are securely fastened so as to not catch on the stub axle when they're rotating. Regards Kenn

    Missing a Part

Just a crappy plastic cap that covers the stub axle. There are options that work better but most likely cheapest option is to get a new OEM unit and apply a little stylistic to hold it a little more securely. Regards Kenn

    frunk weather stripping?

Had mine replaced under warranty but as that expires soon guess if it fails again it will be on me and I "most certainly" won't be replacing it with an OEM unit. Regards Kenn

    Wheel buttons (Caps)

Check out Lamonster's garage. Has some awesome billet inserts plus also has billet covers for the stub Axle to replace those crappy plastic things that always fall off. Regards Kenn
