• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Natural Gear Ultra Light Rain Suit

Lamonster - We've been using Frogg Toggs for years when we ride our Goldwing. The first set seemed to leak a little. I called them, they said send them back (there were quite used) and they sent us new sets for free! Our second sets work perfectly and are so much lighter than our Harley...

    Is it worth the money

I didn't like the stock seat at all -- would get "butt sore" in under an hour! I have a Corbin seat now and wouldn't trade it for a million bucks! It was perfectly comfortable from day one! :2thumbs:

**check out the paint job on this Spyder**

HDXBones - Back in 2001, we'd never heard about that green superstition. We had a beatufiul Jade Green 2001 Harley ElectraGlide -- top of the line, all the goodies. We rode it to Rolling Thunder in May, 2001, then up to Canada and the New England states, no problems at all. Then in...

    Spyder Apparel

I agree with Roaddog2 -- I have TONS of Harley tee shirts (my husband has ridden Harley's for years). That's what I wear when I ride my Spyder. I figure I'd better use them up before I buy anything else!

Potential Buyer - Time to Stay Clear of a Spyder

If you pass up buying a Spyder, you are really missing out on a wonderful ride! I've had my Spyder for almost a year now and LOVE it! I'd buy one again in a heartbeat! As I just posted on another thread, it's the nature of these types of forums that people post with problems and questions...

    Paranoia post. lol

I bought my Spyder last October (JUST before it got too cold-darn!) and have about 2600 miles on it. I had the steering recall done -- noticed no problems before or after. I LOVE my Spyder and have had absolutely NO problems with it. We go for day long rides just about every weekend during...

    Powder Coat Color Code

See if this helps: Full Moon BRP Color Code - B-211 BASF Paint Code - 94881 PPG Paint Code - DBC37415 I have them written down because I need my left front fender re-painted (slow moving close encounter with the rear of a friend's Harley :opps:). I'm sorry, but I can't remember where I got...

How about a poll for the steering recall?

:agree: I have an SM5, with a bit over 2000 miles on it. Had the recall done last week. I had absolutely no problems with my Spyder before the recall, and am having absolutely no problems since the recall.

A little heads up on the software upgrade

I had mine done this morning. Haven't had much of a test yet, only the ride home. Couldn't tell much difference, maybe a little easier shifting (SM5), but I don't think I had a problem before. Luckily everything is still working fine. Took them about 1/2 hour. Will be going on a longer...

    Smilin' Gene's ryde - MO

Would like to go along, but we're heading for a church picnic in St. Clair, MO, and it's our favorite one of the year! Thanks for posting the info!

Dynamic Steering System Recall-HAVE IT DONE!

I'm taking my Spyder in on Friday (8/31) to have this done. I don't think I'm having the steering problem, because I'm definitely strength challenged and would surely notice if it was hard to steer. Will post if I feel a difference.

    Corbin Seat owners question ??

I have a standard Corbin seat, ordered online and I've absoluted LOVED it from the first moment I tried it out! I hated parting with the $$$, but now that I have it, I LOVE IT! I had terrible tailbone soreness with the stock seat even after short rides -- that's a thing of the past now. It's...

    Couldn't feel my fingers!!!

I know exactly what you're talking about! I call it the "DEATH GRIP"! That will ease up in time, when you get used to riding. I was leaning over too far too, and it felt like I was leaning on my puny wrists. After I got the 4" risers, that improved a lot. I sit up straighter and don't...
