• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Service manual

Service Manual Goggle it. I got one for my ST-LTD for $28 Service, Parts, Wiring Diagram all part of the download. PFD format. I don't have the Web address for the one I got but there are several on the web.

    Radio Quality

If you want a concert hall... I have a 2014 ST-Limited that came with a radio as part of the package. A radio was not near the top of my list of features that I felt was important to be part of the motorcycle experience. I live in a rural area where towns of population of 2000 are considered...

Did you make your own trailer?

Here are some pictures of the trailer I put together. I used a Harbor Freight trailer kit. I chose the kit with 12" tires. Took one of the leaf springs out to soften them up a bit. Made the side rails to simulate rain gutters for the roof rack and X-Cargo box that I have had for many years...

    Hitch Questions

Overlooked rear light I went with the BRP hitch. The factory hitch kit comes with a different rear light and license plate mounting. Any hitch will block the plate and light when riding without the trailer in its stock location. The light is moved up onto the rear fender. Personally I want all...

    Hitch questions

Fab away I think you will have to fabricate your hitch. The frame is a long way away from where the hitch ball needs to be. Personally I think the stiffness of the springs on your trailer would shake your sodas more that the swing arm. With the hitch on the swing arm your trailer is in unison...

    Vee Rubber for the RT

Any news? Lamont, you started this thread in July. Any thoughts on how the new tire worked out?

Flat spots on tires during storage

New shoes My plan is simple and not to worry about flat spots. I have managed the tire wear well enough that the ST-L will need tires next spring. So it will sit the snow season out on the old shoes and get new ones in the spring.

    Another mpg thread

Mileage, what mileage. Most of the time I do reset the trip tick at fill-ups. The first bar goes out around 30 miles. The rest go a bit quicker. When my wife and I are traveling we fill at about 120 miles. The farthest I have gone on one tank is 180 miles. When we first got the Spyder (2014...

    Are rider floorboards adjustable

Floor Board Adjustment I do not believe the floor boards are adjustable. This would mess up the brake peddle and the safety break-a-way for extra brake peddle travel.

    New tire update

I truly hope that you have continued good fortune in the future. Sent from my XT907 using Tapatalk

    New tire update

That is correct Yes that is correct. Only the rear was available as they did not have 15" fronts. I am planning to get a set of the touring fronts and rear for the next go around. I plan on riding 15K to 20K a year and if that cost us a set of tire, so be it. The only hope you have in...

    New tire update

Vee Rubber tires At a little over 6K the original tire was shot. I for one am not sold on the car tire for the bikes. The bikes are not heavy enough to make the tire work for what it is designed for. I may be alone in my opinion but that is OK. I gave a try to a Vee Rubber rear tire last spring...

    sT arm rests

ISCI Check out the ISCI link on the home page. They are the only arm rests that I know of for the ST. We have a set on our 14 ST-L and they are excellent. The materials and workmanship is very good.

    OEM backrest adjustment?

Glad you are enjoying. Good to hear that the arm rest are working well for you. When my wife and I travel we switch off piloting and riding about every tank of gas. We have started a rule that the passenger is responsible for taking pictures as we go. Works out pretty well.
