• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

Thank you. Thank you for the information. I'm considering doing a similar setup. Thank you. The issue is that ACP is problematic. I've tried all of the solutions provided but still do not feel the application is reliable.

Looking for Navigation options besides ACP - What do you recommend?

I am planning on taking several extended trips over the next few months. ACP is still problematic. At this point, I no longer feel that I can rely on the provided navigation.. For the more experienced riders: 1. Do you use a phone mount? If so which one? (The issue is not with my phone...

10.25 Screen Rebooting during ride; the Screen data is not updating; and Statistics data us incorrect - any Suggestions?

I saw the same video and changed out to a shorter USB cable. The results were better, but not great. (I enjoy his videos) The original post for this thread was for the entire display rebooting. The bluetooth fault may be a separate issue. The tech performed an update, and afterwards, ACP...

10.25 Screen Rebooting during ride; the Screen data is not updating; and Statistics data us incorrect - any Suggestions?

I just wanted to post a follow up after visiting my dealer. The battery is not the issue. The Spyder BUDS recorded the event showing that all communication from the display to the control modules had dropped. A case was opened with BRP. There was one other case showing the same issue. So...

10.25 Screen Rebooting during ride; the Screen data is not updating; and Statistics data us incorrect - any Suggestions?

Thank you. Based on what I have read, the stock battery should be replaced. You recommend Yuasa as a replacement? One source stated the following (This also suggests a battery as a potential problem area): Instrument cluster/TFT display fault (hardware or firmware) - Most likely Complete...

10.25 Screen Rebooting during ride; the Screen data is not updating; and Statistics data us incorrect - any Suggestions?

While on a ride today, the screen started to repeatedly reboot. The information on the screen was frozen with none of the data updating (Time, gearing, speed, mileage, etc.). The bike ran normally with no other issues. Once I reached my destination, I restarted the RT and the display updated...

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

The service included changing the spark plugs. Remove this option, the price was much more reasonable. Sounds like you received an excellent price for the service provided.

Any Modification recommendations from those who tour on their Spyders?

Thanks for the information. It seems that I spend quite a bit of time riding in the rain.

Here's my Alternative Solution for a Trunk Organizer

I attached the cords in the top corners to the two screws located in the trunk. You could also use Velcro for easy removal. If the cords are tight, it can be difficult to get into the pouch.

Here's my Alternative Solution for a Trunk Organizer

I thought this may be helpful for those who are looking for a trunk organizer. I had researched several options but most organizers had mixed reviews. I purchased this from REI for $16.00. Not necessarily a perfect solution but looks to be a good one. Here is the link for those who may be...

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

As promised, I followed up with two repair facilities concerning the 9,300 mile checkup. Pricing WITHOUT examining the spark plugs $300.00 and $312.00. (Plus the cost of oil, filters. etc). The CanAm manual lists replacing the spark plugs at 28,000 miles. (This was mentioned in a previous...

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

Thank you. Based on what I have learned, I thought the same. The number of hours to install the sway bar is listed as 4 by the service center. This seems to be standard as I know of other centers estimating the same number of hours. To be fair, the work performed has been excellent.

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

No worries. So based on what I provide below, what are your thoughts? I've only been in the CanAm world for 10 months, thus the reason for my initial question. I am used to two-wheeled motorcycles and well aware of break-in periods as well as the maintenance schedule and costs. I knew that the...

What did you pay for your 9,000 mile service?

My intent was trying to gauge what others were paying for maintenance. The question to my service center was what is the cost for the 9,000 mile checkup. The response I received was the price mentioned earlier. I was also informed that the time for labor was 5 hours with a majority of that...
