• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Disappointed for sure

update. Dealer delivered the bike last Friday. Put 100 miles on it Saturday with no problems. I was told some problem with the computer programming not taking hold and that the older BUDS setups could be a little buggy at times. Anyway no charge and the spyder seems ok, hope I make it Sturgis...

    One more tire thread

I'm with you. I have 4,000 miles on a Firestone Touring Elite 215/60R15 purchased and mounted locally. Speedometer is now spot on with the mile markers and no problems with the Nanny. Still have the stock tires on front of my 2010 RS

    EBC brake pads

Each pad has 2 clips on the back side. You will need to remove them and put them on your new pads. Pay attention to the orientation of the clips, they go on a particular direction so the clips will grab the post in the center of each caliper piston. Take your time, be very careful with the...

    brake shoes

Well after the third look I found both spring clips so be aware if you intend to change the front pads to have some sort of locking pliers handy to keep the little devils from taking a hike across your shop. Putting them back on seems much easier than coming off. Looking forward to the extra...

    brake shoes

Nice afternoon to put on the new Baja Ron brake pads. The oem pads have a pair of wire clips on them and the new pads do not. So started to remove the clips and you know what happened next, they disappeared in the shop somewhere. I see the oem pads come with these clips but I really don't want...

Transfering onto Spyder RS & collapsing the wheelchair and attaching it to the givi

That's just how I do it. Tried it Seth's way but the HO in my right hip made it a real pain to get my leg across. I mount the wheel chair on the side like you but the other way around. I had box built for the cushions that is mounted on the right side. Much easier than bungee cording them to...

    CB Radio

I wanted to post a link but haven't figured that out yet. Anyway Midland has a nice hand held that you might be able to mount somewhere and the Cobra 19 is pretty compact for a mobile radio. Look for Midland 75-822 or Cobra 19 online or visit the local truck stop. Mounting would be up to your...

    Parasitic drain?

Just reading through the thread and I have always used a battery tender and its on now in fact so no battery problems too report. I never leave the key in either but this key thing is blowing my mind. I only have 1 key and it's now looking for another one to finish its programing ? What does...

Any one put ham radio on their spyders

HI from N0HA Thought I might try mounting and older Icom dual bander that has a detachale head and put the main body of the radio in the trunk. I think a mount for the head much like I see pictures here of mounted GPS's. Then a simple 1/2 wave antenna on front or back. Not a lot of room on an RS.

    Doing It Myself

Looks good and simple as well. My solution to mounting was a little more complicated. Good luck with your mods

Has any one found good replacement Spark Plug Wires

Ron I posted last week for a set of wires and spark plugs but I see my post is now missing. Well don't know what happened there but I still would like the wires and plugs. Did send a paypal payment to you last week and have a receipt for that. Looking forward to getting the wires when you catch...
