• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Rotten ride yesterday - I hate wintertime!

I might give those a try. I usually ride with my modular helmet open unless it's really cold out, but these would work with the face shield down.

What Kind of Rider are you?

I ordered the faux leather hand grips from Lamonster but I may end up taking them off. They restrict the heat to the hand grips to the point I can't even feel it.

What Kind of Rider are you?

I think I’m a pretty conservative rider. As I’ve gotten older my night vision has tanked so I avoid driving/riding after sun down if at all possible. Living in the Pacific Northwest, winters are usually somewhat mild. So as long as there is no snow/ice on the roads I’ll ride. You just have to...

    The Strength of ....Paper

The honeycomb is one of the strongest structural designs known and we learned about it from the bees. Amazing.

    Electric Spyder next?

With BRP's track record for obtaining even simple replacement electronic components, if anything ever went wrong with an electric Spyder you'd probably die of old age waiting for parts to arrive.

Rotten ride yesterday - I hate wintertime!

To be honest if my fingers weren't frozen I was thinking of pulling off on an exit ramp and waiting about thirty minutes for the sun to go down more, but by that time I was in a pretty sparsely traveled area of the Interstate with not much traffic so I just decided to press on.

    The caliber of my dealership

OK, well I went to the shed and examined my bike this morning. Looking first at the left fender I could see nothing amiss. So I thought maybe he meant the right fender. I looked at it and all I could see was a little paint chip mark as if from a bit of gravel kicked up, not much bigger then the...

Rotten ride yesterday - I hate wintertime!

Due to circumstances beyond my control I ended up having to make a 75 mile ride yesterday. Normally it wouldn't have been that bad, temp was high 30's. However I ended up having to leave in the late afternoon. On the interstate. Heading west. Directly into the sun. It's times like this I'm glad...

    The caliber of my dealership

That's always a good practice in my opinion. At least document the date and name of the person you spoke with along with a short synopsis of the discussion. I think I have a pretty good dealer, even if they're 75 miles away. At least I can trust they're not blowing smoke up my pants leg. Along...

    The caliber of my dealership

I finally pick up my bike from the dealership today. It was in for its scheduled 28,000 mile service and a few other things. I posted an update on that in another post. While coming home I heard my cell phone chirp indicating I received a voice mail. I’m not one of those folks who feel...

Kind of an expensive day - 28k service

Well I finally pick up my bike from the Dealership today. I brought it in for the 28,000 Gold Service. While working on it the Tech discovered there was a rock puncture in the drive belt and it needed to replaced, so I approved that. Then I was advised the rear tire was down to it's Wear...

    Life is more interesting when.....

I believe that due to customer complaints, BRP is releasing their 2025 line of Sypders as kits to customers with some assembly required.
