• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Aside from a vanity project does this serve any purpose whatever?

    2021 RT Limited Colors

When I ordered my new Spyder RT in 2011 I don't remember the colour being mentioned. It might have been, but a blue one turned up and I didn't question it, it was all mine and it turned out to be a real head turner. If I were to buy a replacement I'd ask for a blue Spyder again. Gorgeous!

To all you 2020 RT and RT Limited owners.

Try not to be so pessimistic brother, it (could) happen

    Kenda Tire: Important Recall Information

BRP (et al) get tires without payment? Since Trump was elected any darn thing is possible, like not paying for The Wall and so a deal involving the non payment for tires should be a piece of cake!

    Fobo problem

I've worked out that TPMS is a Tire Pressure Monitoring System but FoBo is an acronym too far for my old grey matter to work with. Any assistance decoding the same will be thankfully received...

    limp mode

Not long after I took delivery of my 2011 RT I was out riding in the company of a few bikes when I had the Limp Mode happen. (I found out later that I had been riding the brake pedal slightly in anticipation of the many sharp bends in the road). No way would that limp mode reset itself. One of...

    Changing horn

You have a 2010 RT which I'm guessing is the same, chassis-wise, as my 2011 RT. Take a look at the DIY or How-to Step by Step Forum. You'll have to go back to Page 5 to find it, to 08-28-2011, about half way down. "Mounting a Stebel Nautilus Air Horn on an RT". The instructions are...

    Check DPS Fault

Taking a walk with the key in my hand makes me feel I am doing something useful, even magical, and lo and behold sometimes the magic works! Taking the key out and just waiting for time to pass involves logic but no 'magic'. I may be stupid but I prefer the former 'mysterious magical walk' every...

    Small lens below fog lights?

So far as the UK is concerned those are NOT 'special' light fittings, neither do I think they are there to fulfil some kind of peculiar lighting requirement existing in any other European country. Sorry to be negative but I believe Europe has lighting regulations which are as standardised as...

    Motortrike

Looks like it's all curves from the headlight back and all rectangles from the headlight forward. Unattractive mix of styling IMO.

Sharing the attributes of an emergency vehicle, have you thought of carrying a couple of flares and a small quantity of bandages? :roflblack:

    MC Crash

Sadly, human beings are notoriously accident prone and someone seeing a modulated (wobbly) headlight approaching them for the first time may assume it means whatever they want it to mean. Being more noticeable on the road is a worthy aim but IMO safety requires that any new scheme intended to...

GPS install for 2015 RT S Special Series

In early 2011 I produced a plan hereabouts which I'd used for my own GPS installation called "Mounting a Zumo Up High". It came with a photo step-by-step-how-to and was well received. It is still available on the DIY forum board, though by now it's about 5 pages back.

    Belt size

It would be smart PR to have the latest Spyder seeming to require a different (bigger/stronger/better) drive belt than the old model, wouldn't it? :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

    headlight shutter

The low beam comes on with the ignition so functions both as a running light & low beam. It goes "off" only when the high beam is selected. The main beam is a simple un-shuttered bulb operated via the main-beam switch. There would be no point having a dual-filament bulb - the dipped filament's...
