• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What experiences have you had with Lithium Batteries?

Old post, but maybe this will help some people. From OH and stationed in CA. I have litium in most of my bikes. This includes two stored in OH for when I am home on leave. They get started when my daughter remembers to go to the storage unit and do so. Guess how often that is. Well after a year...

What gives with this Brake Failure Code - C0048 *** SOLVED ***

Solved: The front float was sticking. The pic by Snowbelt Spyder gave me the info needed. I freed it up and the code went away on its own.

What gives with this Brake Failure Code - C0048 *** SOLVED ***

Thank you. I did google it as you said and had used the search bar here too. the thread you reference is also the one I found where it says the code is not listed and must be C0049. I have failed to find that code myself, but unless it is a C004B, that is what it is. I found the clearing...

So what's the difference, apart from the name? (Coilover springs)

Mind if I ask what rate you went with and your load? I am looking to upgrade my wife's suspension and a new set of front and rear springs would be a great start.

We Owe the BRP Engineers a Lot!

Think about it though. If the maintenance isn't done they may sell another sooner? I love the sound of rushing air, so it wouldn't bother me. I put myself on a list to get the AF kit when BajaRon gets a few available.

We Owe the BRP Engineers a Lot!

Well, I just experienced my first maintenance round with my wifey's 2013 ST-L. Plugs, wires, air filter, install three chargers and repair the outlet, oil change, coolant flush, front tires, all brakes, and replace the under body deflectors. I have to hand it to BRP for their engineering...

    2013 ST-L Farkles - what phone mounts & charging?

First, Thanks in advance. I am learning a whole new bike type here so the questions may seem mundane to some. I am not new to bikes having 27yrs and 750k miles on different types, dozens of track days, and more than a couple cross country trips. I do 90% of my own work as well, but do a ton of...

A few tech questions on the 2013 ST-L

Funny thing. His Ebay page has been getting some orders from me already. The adjusters will have to wait until post holiday though. I have a trip and kids to consider before any big money gets spent on it. Does make me wonder if there is another spring that'll fit on as well. Maybe an Eibach...

A few tech questions on the 2013 ST-L

Not looking to offroad it, just get a bit more cushioning for the rims and a little room for the rougher roads that we find out here in the Mojave. That was me. I don't like annoying people. Now for another question: The front tires seem to have a lot of negative camber that is wearing the...

A few tech questions on the 2013 ST-L

I don't even see it and thought it never saved.

A few tech questions on the 2013 ST-L

Thanks for all the replies. I saw the shuddering is normal. I will be using Rotella T-6 5-40 for oil. T-6 works in all my other bikes and I average 6 digit mileage out of them. I can't speak for the PO, but I already have the filter kit ordered to ensure the future is good. I tend to start all...

Looking to buy a 2013 St limited

If only I had been a member before I bought the one I did. It is only $1500 more than I paid and much better condition! Well, now yours is the goal to do with mods instead.

A few tech questions on the 2013 ST-L

Tried the search for each of these questions, but didn't find clear answers. Please bear with a complete Newbie on these. However, I am a pretty experienced mechanic on both cars and motorcycles so you can base responses on that. Most of these will be maintenance and "Farkle" (term used in my...
