• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2015 STL Oil consuption sanity check

Yes, I'm pretty diligent about checking the oil on a warm engine, letting it idle first. I fill to the max mark or a little less

How to remove right side panel on ST

Coolant leaks galore I just went through a total coolant clamp replacement for my 2015 STL due to multiple hose clamp leaks, right side. Dealer replaced 5 or so clamps, (including near the air box) with screw type, and said this is a common problem. Bad news was that BRP would NOT cover this...

2015 STL Oil consuption sanity check

During a 4400 mile ride through the north central plains, my wife's ST went through 1-1/4 quarts of oil. (We were using Amsoil synthetic 10W40). Other posts in this forum say many times that 998 oil consumption is the nature of the beast, but is this excessive for lots of highway riding? Now...

Advice for a daddy and his girl.

Bryan, this is a great idea for your daughter. would definitely recommend an RT with passenger armrests If you plan to ride a lot get the 1330 engine,or else get a good deal on an older model. Judging by your video she was holding on pretty darn well to that Commander, so ease her into...

    Spyder 2up trailer

The third ramp and the stone guard were the only options ordered from the factory The ramp rack is spring loaded and drops down to slide out the ramps , springs up to lock in place. Ramps work at the rear & along the sides We're using it for long haul trips to the west where we will park...

    Spyder 2up trailer

Thought I would share pixels of our new trailer if anyone is interested in hauling 2 spyders at once. It is 7 1/2 x 18' all aluminum and weighs only 1500lbs empty, has 3500lb torsion axles w/ electric brakes. Required 4 custom D-ring locations and everything is tied down at the wheels. 3 ramps...

    Stripped crankcase threads

Well dummy-ass me, was changing the oil on my wife's ST, and stripped the threads on the crankcase at the drain bolt. I was trying to loosen a Dimple hex bolt, and lost the orientation of the ratchet being on my side and overtightened. A Major Duh. :banghead: Now the bolt head just spins and...
