• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    My perspective

    After owning the '08 GS for 4 years and then later on buying the '15 F-3(3 year span with just my Road Glide, which i will NEVER sell) I can say that I have been very happy with the :spyder2:. Just can not give up riding two wheels. Only problem is my Harley buddies think I am nuts.

    You are right about the cruise. $194.00 for the RH control is a lot less than the cost of the S. Never thought that I would like a white :spyder2: but the black frame and other black parts set it off.

    Chrome Plastic inserts for Allen Head screws...

    Local Harley sop has them, but, fit may be a problem due to theirs fitting standard bolt heads. Got them all over my Road Glide.:thumbup:

    One thing that i have had the best luck with is to tap the center of the drain plug with a punch and hammer. LIGHT TAP! Just to shock the plug a little.

    rider backrest

    I had purchased the BRP driver backrest. I liked it except that it pushed me too far forward. Did some modifications to the mounting bracket (pulled it back) and it is now more comfortable. The backrest bracket on my Road Glide has three different mounting positions.

    Neat thing about that one is that it is universal. Works on any bike, scooter, exercise bike, hang glider, shovel, wheelbarrow, etc. :thumbup:
