• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Outdoor Temperature

    i have been riding my Spyder on long rides in temps from 25 to 119 F, i didn't care for either of those temps. My normal riding temps are between 50 to 90 F, but being in Arizona i do short trips up to about 105.

    I take trips to my sons cabin which is 450 mile trip in one day. It takes about 7 hours which is a long day of riding. The Spyder is very capable of the trip. The big question is whether you are. Have fun.

    Excess heat in the seat

    Beads I have a 2013 with 55k miles on it. I added some insulation under the seat which helped a little, not much. I tried other solutions but found that the beads worked the best for me. Lets a lot of air move beneath you.

    Not sure where you were looking, the website lists the CLC camper at 250lbs fully loaded, that is with camping gear and such. Just the camper weighs in at less than 200lbs.

    FOBO = Major shaking

    I also had some minor shaking when I installed my FOBO on my 2018 RT. Took them off and no shaking. Had the tires rebalanced with the FOBO installed and the problem went away.

    2013 RT BODY PANELS

    I broke one of those tabs also. Read on a post in here to glue back on with PVC pipe glue. Worked great, have even had it off a couple times since with no issues, now that I know how to take it off and put back on without breaking it.

    FOBO Help

    Trouble with FOBO I had the same problem. After searching on their website found one that said to turn off everything but the blue tooth connection and that finally worked for me. So I put my phone in airplane mode and then turned on the blue tooth and it worked ok. No problems since.

    Diecast Spyder on Amazon

    Ordered a Yellow one Order a yellow one for my grandson for his birthday, he loved it. Makes all kinds of noise and has lots of little led lights. (Yes, i got one for me too!!)
