• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Considering buying my first Spyder

I'm pushing 20,000 mi on my 2012 RT. Stlll runs like new. By the time I'm ready to upgrade, I'll be looking to see what the 2016 or 2017 Spyders will offer.

Limp home warming with handle bar picture

It's happened to me a few times, in this scenario; Driving hard, tap on the brakes, and :spyder2: kicks into limp mode (DPS Failure). It's the "tapping" on of the brake that puts the computer into fits (as I've been told) To access the exact code; Turn Key to on position Hold Mode and Set...

Where is everyone riding this Weekend

Once the clouds and rain from the recent mid atlantic storm blow past, the Mrs and I are heading down to our friends ( and :ani29: riders ) in southern md ( about an 1 1/2 ride ) and spending the night. The next day we take a two day ride with about 17 other :ani29:'s through historic southern...

Long Distance Cold Weather Riding tips needed

I came up with a compromise for the Mrs. We'll both book round trip flights. If the forecast looks like snow and ice, I'll hop on the plane with her. Otherwise, I'll meet her in Florida a couple days later (Good Lord Willing)

I looked into that. Pretty costly. Was wondering if there was a "clearance" issue with riding the spyder up the ramp. Looked pretty steep.

    Communications System

One more vote against the dongle. Not enough "bang for the buck", and didn't preform as I expected. Dealer was kind enough to remove it, and give me a full refund. Ride with a Neotech Modular, and disliked a boom mic so much, we went with the new UClear 200 dual pack. Does what I need it to do...

I've been wondering about how to hook up the heated gear. Are the "leads" just a couple battery clips? Do you know if a more permanent socket solution for the dash etc.. is available.
