• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Private sale - test ride?

When selling your Spyder to a private individual, what's the protocol for letting them do a test ride? Yes or no? Thanks.

    Best RT cover?

Also use the BRP full cover on my trailer. No issues. I add one more lightweight bungee cord right over the top above the seat - takes the wind billowing out of it.

    light weight full cover

covers I'm on my 2nd Ultraguard full cover. First one the flap for the antenna came loose and they replaced the cover. Only issue is both the black one I had and the cranberry one I have now are not colorfast. Start out looking good and then the colors fade. Spyder is outside all the time and...

HAVE YOU HAD THE 2013 RT RECALL WORK DONE YET?

recall done! question.... Yes, he took over 6 hours to do the whole job. I watched some of it and he was very meticulous. So my question: I've had the right side upper hole blocked with a Spyderpops plate and the lower hole open since I got the RT. He suggested the open grillwork part with the...

HAVE YOU HAD THE 2013 RT RECALL WORK DONE YET?

Question: how long does it take? The stuff from BRP on the recall says about 4 hours - dealer is telling me maybe 6+. Also how do the black scoops look on the red Spyder??? :sour:

have to store RT - battery?

Guess I should have said for how long - May 1 to mid-Sept. Looks like I'll go the disconnect route as a search for a locker with power is not turning up any in town. I think I can disconnect a battery. ;)

have to store RT - battery?

I have to store my RT this summer and at this point can't find a storage locker in town with power. If I have to store it without a charger attached, should I just disconnect the battery?? Can I do that in the trunk without digging to the bottom where the battery resides?? Thanks for you help.

    Disconnect Battery

storage Have to store the RT next summer with no power available. So I guess I should disconnect the battery. Can that be done in the frunk at the two posts at the top of the left sidewall?? Would just as soon not dig into the bottom to get to the battery. Thanks.

    Ryders in the area?

Just returned to the Rogue Valley for a few months. Have weekends free - are there any Spyder riders in the area who want to ride. Meet at Medford dealer Saturdays or Sundays and ride somewhere for a few hours. Let me know by email: [email protected]

    Charger pigtail

The pigtail for my charger was set up to be used when the frunk is opened and then closed upon the wire. The other day I took that little leftside wiring cover off and saw daylight down below so rerouted the pigtail through the opening. It now is hanging alongside the left spring/shock. I cable...

Check one off my bucket list

Jerry Thanks Magdave for the Jerry Douglas clip. Love the Dobro. Retired 20 years ago (at 55) and on my list was learning the banjo. Had to give that up - structural problems in left wrist, couldn't get fingers to the strings. Someone suggested Dobro - wow - was I excited. But with my mobile...

    charger in frunk?

Thinking of putting my Battery-Tender inside the frunk connected to the charger pigtail there and leaving the power cord hanging outside the frunk cover. Easier to connect to power when the full Spyder cover is on. Anyone see any issues? I would think there is airflow in there, so anything I...

    Here's a look at the 2014 Can-Am Spyder lineup

just my 2 cents Since everyone seems to be chiming in, I figured I would also. What no RED??? Just got my '13 RT last June - and I love it. In the shop for right hand module replacement (cruise control issue)and recent recall. Aside from 600 mile service and having them install some of my...
