• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

What's this shaft for on Left Side of my RTL under/behind front sprocket?

So I was under my 2018 RTL looking at the sprocket/pulley. It looks clean. But under the sprocket there was a splined shaft with nothing on it. I am assuming that shaft is for the manual shifter Spyders. Questions: Does it turn? What happens if I turn it? Is it for the manual shifters...

Red Dust of Death Recall???? Front Sprocket Recall - FINALLY....

I was unable to find a video on removing the front pulley on the Spyder. Only on the F3. Is there a video instructions for the 2018 Spyder? I'd like to take a look at the splines before I put too many miles on it before the dealer fixes it. Thanks.

Will Using 87 Octane impact performance?

My 2018 Roadster operator's guide recommends: Premium unleaded gasoline with an AKI octane rating of 91, or an Ron octane rating of 95. I follow the recommendations of the manufacturer .

How to reduce the loud knock when you put it in first gear?

Just like a Harley and other bikes when I start the 2018 and put it in first gear it makes a heck of a noise. Clank! or Knock! Is there a way to make it more quiet? My oil is fresh by the way.

Compare a 500 mile ride on a Spyder with same on 2 wheels?

73 here. If after giving your used spyder a thorough ride test, and you're still uncomfortable you may need alignment or a set of tires. The previous owner sold it for some reason. No big deal. However it will probably be fine after you get used to it. Happy trails!
