• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Im 6' and I have the Attitude bars which have me reaching further forward than the stock bars. They work perfectly for me with the stock bars I had lower back and butt problems on longer rides, but now I have no issues. I guess we are all different and what may suit one, doesn't suit others.

    Mine originally had silver side scoops, and the muffler is an Akrapovic that was bought out for the RT triple. Fits almost perfectly, just had to put a slight bend in one of the mounts for the heat shield to clear the frame. I think our muffler mount is different to yours as well.

    Sounds like your ABS doing it's job. If you are doing 60mph and then standing on the brakes, then it was probably the ABS keeping you from skidding out of control. Just my thoughts

    From memory, this was discussed quite a while ago, they were actually for placing on the panel where the passenger footpegs fold up, as when they are up they touch and rub on the panel. I just leave the pegs down, and used the squares on the tank until I got my Tank Graphics from Wrapmyspyder.

    BRP Cover doesn't last too long..

    You must have got a bad one. I have had mine for around 5 years on 4 different Spyders, and although it has faded it is still in great condition inside, and yes it is an outside cover.
