• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

    Was a Spyder a Mistake?

In the past few years, I have owned 3 Harley Tri Glide Ultras and one 2015 F3S. I bought my F3S with 6k miles from a dealer and only rode it about 4k miles in 1.5 years. However, I did not experience any malfunctions that would have left me stranded. My only knock on BRP products is that there...

    2019 Daytona bike week

Well, Road over to Daytona International Speedway this morning and looked up Don and his wife from F4 Customs windshields. They are making a new recurved windshield for Harley Tri Glide Ultras that come in all different sizes. I elected to get the same 10" height but with the recurved lip, the...

    2019 Daytona bike week

Heading there tomorrow but since I sold the F3s, it will have to be on my Tri Glide. The weather is only suppose to have a 10% chance of rain with humidity in the mid 70's and air temps of about 83 degrees.

This is how I feel about it.......

It's so weird but when Winter is over in Florida, it frequently gets too hot to ryde. What must life be at the Equator where the temperatures hardly ever vary? Can you imagine NO SEASONS??? Other than the rain and humidity, every day would be a ryding day:yes:

    Draw The Curtain...

I sold my Spyder but come here at times for the humor and interesting insights into the trike riding. Bob, I am glad that you decided to hang around even if it is only periodically. With all of your experience, you are not considered a "usta". We need you to keep things afloat every 47 seconds...

    2018 RTL versus 2014 RTL

Congrats on the new trikes. That is always a very fun time. I have owned an F3s and a am now on my third Tri Glide. I have minor back issues compared to you but one thing I have always done is ride with a lightly inflated Air Hawk seat cushion to dampen the transmission of road shock from the...

    Avoid the Blue Ridge windshield

I tried a Blue Ridge windshield on my 2015 F3S and it was the worst windshield that I have ever used with turbulence that for me was totally unacceptable. After returning my x1 used windshield, I went to a F4 windshield that turned out to be one of the finest windshields I have ever used for...

    BajaRon on Facebook

I recently sold my F3S Spyder but continue to keep this website on my favorites list because I like trikes and many of the folks on this forum. I still have a Harley Tri Glide Ultra. However, I used to glean lots of information from the likes of BajaRon, Lamonster and Don from F4 windshields and...

F3 OEM windshield vs F4 Customs

Unfortunately, there is NO comparison. I got the worst buffeting I have ever experienced with any windshield ever with the BRP Blue Ridge. Went to the F4 and it was instant comfort.

Thanks for the advice and the memories

For the past couple of years, I made this Forum one of my daily reviews since I owned a 2015 F3S as a second trike to my three Harley Tri Glides owned sequentially. Although I very much enjoyed the Spyder, my preferred ride were the ever improving Tri Glides. The Can-Am had much less further to...

Looking for confidence in the curves...

One of the biggest things that helped with higher speed cornering on my F3S other than the Baja Ron Ronbar was to get an inexpensive pair of Sypderpops foam "Grip Puppies" that allowed the rather small grips to become plusher and larger. The foam grips allow me to exert less force per square...

Accident July 7, 2018. Prayers needed

Doc, So sorry for this continuing tough saga of Kathy's fight for survival following that tragic accident. Regardless of one's faith, this whole story really cries for all of us to understand before things go South in our lives to do a few things that allow for our wishes to be complied with...

    2019 upgrade option?

Who's Dobie Gillis (future Ryker ryder Gen X/Millennial) <just kidding, Boomer from the late 40's with a "real motorcycle" (F3S , uh, snowmobile/trike/fun machine>.
