• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

Me too if not under warranty and less than a year old. Whatever the issue, it is intermittent. I informed the dealer that it may be fuel pump related and to please check wiring associated with fuel pump. For one brief moment, I saw a message while scrolling through the display before performing...

    I don't think it was.

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

:) Sorry but, I think I have proven the no start issue has absolutely nothing to do with the battery. New battery was fully charged. And even if it wasn't, Spyder has started on a VERY less than fully charged battery. If any vehicle needs a fully charged battery in order to start, there is...

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

Well, I have started the Spyder regularly and let it run just to make sure it would start. Planned a 6 hour ride to the coast today for a long weekend. About every week, I would start the Spyder and let it run for 10-20 minutes. Started yesterday just fine. Kept it on trickle charger. All was...

Any way to modify an RTL to mimic the off-road features of the new Canyon?

Exactly. The only caveat would be grade. Could be an issue.

Any way to modify an RTL to mimic the off-road features of the new Canyon?

I have my SxS plated for county roads. Just did some FS roads in N. Georgia recently. $20 and liability insurance and you get a plate. And when the road crosses a river, I don't have to turn around. :)

What do you think of the 'New for 2025 - Spyder Canyon'?

With a difference in GC or 1.8", I would probably not make any different choices on routes. Still not considered a high clearance vehicle. Steep dirt roads would still be a no go. Maybe they will have weight plate accessories. :) However, with the improved approach angle, could make loading in...

I have a jump/boost box in all my vehicles. When the Spyder would not start, I hooked up a jump box. It spun faster but, no start. Still a mystery.

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

Thanks. Yea. Did that too. When it did start, it was after sitting for 3 weeks with a low charge. It was a weak crank. When it didn't start, full charge and spinning like a blender. :) So, weak battery may not be as big of an issue on the 24s. We'll see.

2024 will Crank, but just won't start! More later...

Update: Tried the WOT trick. No help. So, I went on my 2 week hunting trip. On my return, I hooked up the trailer and was about to push the Spyder on to the trailer. I thought I would try to start one more time. Started after only a couple very slow cranks due to battery being low. Went for a...

Finally got the USB issue fixed. Went to go for a ride. Cranks just fine just doesn't start. Charged the battery with trickle charger 'til done. No help. Hooked up my jump box. No help. I am leaving town for 1.5 weeks to hunt. When I get back, get help to push it on to a trailer, and get it to...

Anyone else getting Bluetooth Fault Detected msg after ACP Upgrade?

After 3 trips to the dealer, issue is fixed. BRP released an update to the dealer. After they gave the dealer the correct permissions to download, the update was pushed and my bluetooth works once again. The "bluetooth fault detected" message doesn't display every 5 seconds. I feel better. :)

    How's your gas mileage???

250 miles on a tank? I am doing something wrong. I do not ride spirited...yet. If I ride to work, 124 miles round trip on the interstate, cruise set to 77, I will need to fill the tank before the next trip. Light comes on around 150-160 miles. Maybe it will get better as it gets more miles on...

Had to wear Gloves for Can Am riding course - Do you wear gloves? Why? Or why not?

I always wear gloves for protection and a side benefit, It helps the lettering on the control buttons last longer.

Anyone else getting Bluetooth Fault Detected msg after ACP Upgrade?

Yes. I believe it is a simple fix once we get past the "What phone are you using?" Dealership called and BRP called yesterday. (BRP read this forum?) Anyway, they are thinking to flash it again. They have to release the update to the dealer or else I could just flash it from home. We'll see...
