• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. Today I have seen something for the first time since moving to Alaska in July 2001.

It was 89 degrees on my ride this afternoon. I guess all the warm stuff has moved North.

A large wildfire is now burning 50 miles North of here. Over 45 homes/businesses burned, evacuation of the area. It will be on the national news tonight.

We have been getting rain here, Sat. when we went riding I saw some water on some of the fields and some on the roads. The rivers were high and the water was moving rapidly. We can send some of rain to you to help put some of the wildfires up there.
Send some of the Warm weather down.
Hope no one got hurt during the wildfires, will people rebuild in the same area that they lost there homes or businesses?
Deanna

So far no one hurt. This fire started within the town of Willow, so many residences were burned. People are resilient and most will probably rebuild. There are now 20 miles of the Parks Highway closed. Details are ongoing. The area is surrounded by Black Spruce forest. The trees ignite almost instantly when exposed to fire.

57 degrees? I would ride in that in a heartbeat. Rode yesterday on the highway in 91 degree temp, and almost got my :cus: burned off. Wicked hot around the glove box, side panels, & right foot. Temp gauge on the console read 102 degrees. No, I haven't had the recall work done yet, it's going to the dealer on Wednesday, but my RT has always loved cool temperatures, and rain as well. Today was 68 degrees & misting, rode for a couple of hours & was quite comfortable. Of course, the :ani29: is filthy now, but maybe the dealer will wash and wax it for me after the recall work is done. :roflblack::roflblack::roflblack:

Today, we had rain and tonight they are forecasting more rain with thunder. This week -end rain off/on :banghead:. Deanna
