• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

Loyalty Day 2015...God Bless the USA

How about if it was just moved to the "Off-'Topic" area? :dontknow:

The Off Topic area would certainly be a better place for the original post.. but even then, some of posts are problematic... if you allow one political opinion... then you open it up to other opinions as well.

Best to keep this a neutral zone.

I've learned not to push my Atheistic and Left-wing opinions out here... wish others would do the same. ;)

No need to bash our President or the White House out here... that's what Facebook is for....:p

I would offer the opinion, that discussing "Politics", is meant to address the issue of discussing Political Parties or Candidates and issues being addressed during an election.
A general discussion about a Patriotic Holiday is pretty well-removed from that can of worms. :D

I have zero issue with mentioning a Patriotic Holiday... just some of the comments that followed..

Oh well.. not my circus.. not my monkeys..... ;)

:D I LIKE that! :2thumbs:
:agree:I've been guilty on more than several (thousand!) occasions, of pulling the discussion in a thread off into murky waters. :opps:
But if the folks in here just keep reminding one another to keep it amicable and on-point:
