How good is that muffler and does it sound more like a MC?

Yes, it sounds great. I am almost happy that they are not reducing the price on the one for the 1330 as I just purchased a Two Bros. at Spyderfest. I had been hoping that BRP would have the Akropovic on sale at Spyderfest like they did last year.

The only difference that I can see in the pics is the touring has a larger black plate on the front. It looks like some sort of heat shield for the rider. The sport has one but its smaller.
If I get one, Ill waiit a while and add the CC bypass later on.

I can't wait to get it installed, it looks better than the pic. The black parts are made of carbon fiber poly.
The heat shield on the front extends the length of the pipe on the touring model

Just a final note on the purchase.
The add is based on the MSRP price of 919.99, the dealers have it for 899.99, so take off 350 and what I paid was 549.99 plus tax.

I got a card in the mail giving this offer yesterday. The only difference is they subtract the 350 from 899.99. The same deal I got, 549.99 plus tax. Im sure the dealers all know about it now.

I bought a muffler constructed entirely of titanium for my snowmobile and it was only $529

Lighter weight, maybe a little more free flowing...looks good, and sounds great...even better with the baffles out.

Just found out my dealer has put in a case request to find out if this is real. Shouldn't BRP tell their dealers BEFORE they send out these special deals?

I may have gotten the first one at this price. The dealers were all saying the same thing, they had not heard of the sale and doubted it was real. I provided the info from this thread. After I had called BRP they left a phone number to call. The dealer called the number and came back a while later saying they would honer the price. The phone number is 888-272-9222
