• There were many reasons for the change of the site software, the biggest was security. The age of the old software also meant no server updates for certain programs. There are many benefits to the new software, one of the biggest is the mobile functionality. Ill fix up some stuff in the coming days, we'll also try to get some of the old addons back or the data imported back into the site like the garage. To create a thread or to reply with a post is basically the same as it was in the prior software. The default style of the site is light colored, but i temporarily added a darker colored style, to change you can find a link at the bottom of the site.

2012 RTS runs like S***

I am taking bike to dealer this week. Any ideas before I get there? Bike has 3800 miles. Rode it yesterday and it acts like it is only wanting to run on one cylinder. Then all of a sudden it will come to life and run fine. Very intermittent problem. Can't establish a pattern. Thought maybe some of this great gas we get today turned to water, so I siphoned what I could then let the bike run out of fuel. Put a couple of gallons of fresh 93 octane. Seemed to improve but still drops in and out.

Spark Plug, Injector, TPS? Any ideas appreciated!!

Thanks

My thoughts, vacuum hose to the Throttle Body. With so few miles on a Spyder I am thinking the hose dried up and has a hair line crack.

Big thanks...

Thank you or getting back to us with the good news...:2thumbs: always good to find out we are helping...

Same problem on 2012 RSS

Hi, fired up the bike yesterday, same problem, running on one cylinder on and off. Just moved from Florida to the great white north. Nearest dealer sixty miles away and no good way to get it there. Could you tell me where to look for these lines? Are they obvious or hidden somewhere? The bike has 15k miles of FL high temperatures so it's not surprising. Also, I'm at a much higher altitude, would it be wise to disconnect the battery for a while to let the computer reset? Or is this unnecessary? Thanks!
